I gave him a pass last year being a rookie and having some extremely fun clutch moments had me hopeful. His lack of Passing TDs last year had me concerned but I chalked it up to lack of continuity and inexperience. Barring an extreme turnaround I don’t see him being capable of leading us to Superbowls or playoff wins because he’s just too easy to gameplan for thus far. Not enough pop or juice.

To be a top coach, he has to have a top QB...Tomlin, Belichick and Sean Payton in the same no top QB boat.
He had a top quarterback, a elite oline and one of the best qb/wr conections of all time. Was had he done with it? Nothing but won a single playoff game in a decade.
By the way: Give McDaniels or Shanahan this exact Steelers team and they will make playoff runs. I`m so sick of hearing Coach T is one of the best. And this "but he never had a loosing season" nobody cares for. If he was a good coach he never go with Canada for three years. And he planned for another year if Rooney doesn`t pull the trigger. I've had enough of this team. From Coach T, but also from these wide receiver divas who just talk but don't perform.
I never thought I'd say this, but Antonio Brown messed up a lot off the field, but he always delivered in the games. Pickens and Johnson talk a lot, but don't deliver.
Johnson makes 18 million a year, drops balls, runs backwards and then complains. He celebrates touchdowns when we're two scores down like he won the Super Bowl.
Pickens is a lockeroom cancer, a child who likes to complain but hasn't delivered anything yet.
Mike Tomlin has long since lost this team, and the young players don't care what he won 15 years ago. Why he thought it was a good idea to hire Mitch Trubustky, or Canada, remains his secret. Time for a restart.

Pickett is just a younger version of Trubinsky - the front office has to pull up their big boy pants and trade for a competent QB and while they're at it, trade Tomlin to Washington and reshape their team - it is embarrassing being a Steeler fan at the moment!

Mitch Trubisky is not big Ben but they tried to play him like he is. He doesnt read defenses well he locks on to one receiver. They should've game planned better. Roll him out short dump off, screens. Get him easy passes. Where the first read will be open. They just drop him back like they don't have a QB problem. But that's Tomlin tho he doesn't adapt. He roles the way he roles no matter the circumstances. And that may do him in. If circumstances change around you. You have to change.

@@mikebelcher7720 It was a spot of the foul penalty meaning the 10 yards were subtracted from the place where the holding occurred since it was downfield and the runner (Warren I think) got past the block that had the holding. I believe they initially marked it first and 5 but stopped the play to readjust the position making it first and 16.

Colts fan here. The refs penalizing the Steelers to hell didn't help. In a crowded AFC North playoff picture the refs did what they were told to do by Vegas. The Colts are the Cinderella team this year that will make Vegas a lot of money including another win in Houston to knock the Texans out. They will win the AFC South and lose to the Chiefs in the Wild Card. The Colts aren't good, and their defense is terrible. They would have beat the Browns if the refs didn't want the Browns to win that game and would be seeded higher. Now it is convenient that the Browns lose 2 of the next 3 games to get Denver in. What a great story. They were screwed by BS penalties last week against the Bengals. Again, the AFC North was too crowded for the agenda and they needed the Steelers out. I could go on. The NFL is rigged to the point that I don't get why anyone of intelligence would watch it anymore.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but at least Antonio Brown delivered. He messed up a lot off the field, but he also performed well. Pickens and Johnson talk a lot but accomplish nothing. Take a look at DeAndre Hopkins, for example. Several thousand yard seasons, with even worse quarterbacks. Have you ever heard him complain? Pickens is an annoying toddler and Johnsonn makes 18 million a year...for what?
Maybe we could trade Tomlin, Pickens and DJ and hit the restart button.
