It's crazy how curly hair can change our face so drastically! I feel like I look 5 years younger with curly hair and my actual age when its straight.I always get this from other people too lol.
I also get told I look like a different race/nationality. When its curly I get I look Dominican(which I am) and when its straight I look black. Does any other curly girl get told any of this ??

Okay thanks because some people say they're bad because of tightness but I mean what braids aren't a little tight 😂
Go for the twists it's easier to keep your real hair moisturized.

Yes !!!! Same thing used to happen at my roots ? Does anyone know how to prevent sweat induced frizz ?
HaileyBeaBeauty Maybe you guys could try opening up the bathroom door when you're straightening and you could even put a tiny fan in the bathroom. Or if all else fails take 5 minute breaks when it's getting too hot.
Ackeeba Simms I like to sit in my room, and I mean SIT on the floorXD with a huge mirror in front of me on the floor, open up the window, wear as little as possible clothes and maybe a fan too if the weather is hot. That way I won't sweat as much ^_^ Maybe it'll help you too!

Ackeeba Simms After you straighten a part of your hair use the cool setting on the hair dryer so that it stops you from sweating and making your hair poofy :)

Finally someone I can relate to with my hair length! My hair is naturally curly but I've had it relaxed for 10 years! So sometimes the curls sneak in so this video helps a lot!!!

+Cecilia Obot I think that is all in the products you use and the straightener. In the past I used a cheap straightener and used different heat protectant and my hair always smelled up the house like something was burning LOL! Now it doesn't because I invested in better products!

Luhhsettyxo i often straighten my hair too but when i go to sleep it always gets like... crinkles (?) no matter what i do. I tried to sleep with my hair open : crinkles. i tried to tie a ponytail: i get like a...crease where the hairtie was no matter what hairtie i use... (even the invincibobbles left a crease). no matter what i do i always get crinkles (if that is the right word sorry my english is not so good )
do you have any advises? how do you sleep with your flat ironed hair???

Girl, I feel you on the 3.5 hour hair routine! It takes me about the same but I have longer hair so it takes longer to blow dry. Lol! The GHD blow dryer cut time in half for me though! I love that thing!

Your hair looks very damaged. Are you sure it is a good idea to use heat on it at all? It will lead to even more damage and even more stringy hair.
Natasha Wilder The damage is from coloring, not straightening. My hair is very tough and can handle it. I cut my hair every 2-3 months and the damage will be cut off in time. Straightening my hair 5 times a year isn't too big of a deal.

Hey hun, just a tip.. if you leave the deep conditioning in your hair I usually like to shave my legs or (sometimes exfolitate) my body before washing my body.. the reason for this is because when you take off the deep conditioner the product is going to go right back on your skin. Then do the washing your body for last ☺

I am so grateful that you made these videos and I came across them you are literally a curlied haired angel ... I have twins and a 5 yr old all girls all curly hair I have regular wavy hair ... All my life I've had thinner and straighter hair and omg I'm so in love with you hair, curly or straight. It's so crazy it takes you 3 hours to do all this! I know my hair completely different but i get out of the shower air dry my hair and it takes me like 10-15 mi it's to straighten my hair hah, even though it's already straight

it looks so much better straight! go for that style. a few tips i can give you is to keep your hands out of your hair when its straighten. the sweat from your hand rubs off on your hair, making it revert and go curly again. hope this helped :)
