This was really beneficial, I'm going to go with the mini because I plan to use it on shoes, wood and sometimes shirts and bags. The power usage is great information to know because I live in an older house.

I want to start my own business and I think I mainly want it for sweaters and t-shirts and onesies. I think I'm going to start with mini and then work my way up. Mini won't break the bank and can be used on a lot of stuff. So if I feel I need to upgrade, the mini will still help with sewing projects and stuff. Video has been very helpful.

You cannot, unless your infusible ink design is smaller than the heat plate of the mini easypress. If your heat press is smaller than your image, you wont get an even distribution of ink and will have an unsuccessful project.

it is a glitch on the Walmart app but it has to be the raspberry kind and 9 by 9. Once you find it click on the free pick up options and it will show stores in you area some of them should be $40. If so take it to Michaels or Jo Ann fabrics or even Walmart to price match. Jo Ann did not work for me but Michaels did price match. Don’t call just go in the store act as if your about to buy it regular price then pull it up in the app and show it. Beware a lot of places has caught on to the glitch and won’t honor it...Good Luck

    Hey guys,
I'm sorry if you've already addressed this... I'm a new "Cricut Maker" user. Your tutorials have helped me tremendously! I truly enjoy watching your videos with trial and error and explaining everything. I was so overwhelmed before and spent about 2 weeks watching your tutorials & others.
I'm trying to make personal gift tags. I use my Cricut machine to make tags with the "copy paper" setting (it's thin almost construction like paper i bought from Walmart) ...and once they are drawn and cut I flatten the paper with a book or on top so it doesn't curl up.
My question is, will poster board take the Cricut fine point pen for writing? I know it's a different type of material. I'm using dollar store poster board.
I don't want to waste material if the pen wont work on it.
If you have time to respond, please let me know.
    Thank you so much!

Question: I've had a clam press for the last years. We have a 1 and a 3 year old running around. Ever since baby No 1, I haven't used it much and used it mostly to make cheerleading bows and a couple of shirts. I've always worried about the kids hurting themselves because my work corner is in an open concept apartment. Now it finally broke. Doesn't heat up anymore.
I don't have much spare money so I'm contemplating, if I should get an easypress and which one.
I could maybe justify 140€ for the 6x7. The almost 190€ for the 9x9 really hurt. The 70€ for the Mini wouldn't be a problem so much. Which one would you get?
Technically the 6x7. But I'm scared that the 6x7 could just be a weird compromise between the mini and the 9x9.
    Argh, help! ;)

I think some of the prices have gone up since this was made. 9x9 at walmart is 149.

I can't believe how expensive these are. It don't make sense. And that dont even come with the mat
This company is very greedy... Its just a giant iron. And the fact you do need various sizes... no reason to cost that much. I do know I'm in the wrong business. Lol the big one should be around 75 at most. I grabbed the size down from the big one..not even thinking they would be much more than an iron. The cashier said "your total is 229. Something.... I was like nope!! Not doing that.
