Easily and I cry with laughter when people claim Cyberpunk is the same
NMS went above and beyond what they promised the game was going to be TENFOLD.
Cyberpunk STILL isn't at any kind of level RIGHT NOW, nearly 4 years later, of what was promised prelaunch.
Yeah, the game doesn't crash anymore lol. But you can't go 5 mins in that game without there being an immersion breaking NPC or vehicle mishap.
Such as they claimed each NPC can be followed and you can see them living day to day lives like Elder Scrolls or Fallout lol. 😂
NPCs still barely act at same the level of some PS2 era games.

I was gonna say cyberpunk but yeah no man’s sky cooked pretty hard ☹️
Anyway Valve fixing tf2 is pretty big, and I wanna see how star citizen turns out after 17 centuries of development, although idk if that counts as a redemption as the product isn’t even done yet. 😭

@@andrewsqualI agree with ya. Its weird when people are comparing HG's redemption arc with other games. I mean unless that other game fixed whats wrong, added new features for free and non-stop support for 7~8 years with no sign of stopping only then said same can be put next to NMS.
Also, World was supposed to be things the devs learned from developing their next game and the fact that they brought it to their previous game speaks volume.

I mean sure NMS is in a lot better place than it was at launch, but that doesn’t erase the straight up lies he was spewing.

Just to confirm if you have the Ps4 version on disc from a while back and you put that disc in a PS5 you will get the updated and better version shown here? Thanks

Can't remember if the PS5 update is free or not.

  • @ryanjohnson8537

This isn’t quite a fair comparison, the disc version you are using does not include the games day one patch, which drastically polished and regenerated the universe. If you are able to play patch 1.09 I’d say that would make for a more interesting comparison. Most people in 2016 did not play this 1.00 build and is latent with bugs and various other oddities. That being said as a point of analysis it’s fun to examine nonetheless.

NMS is just getting more awesome and it probably is going to get even better as Hello translates much of what they are doing for their new game LNF as a literral test bed for their ideas into the new game they are developing so we can probably expect even more awesome updates going forward, NMS it the gift that keeps on giving, even it it has already given enough, there's still more to discover and enjoy!

Yknow I was one of the ones that felt ripped off when this game came out. I would return every now and then for some updates but always felt it was the same as release. But this update came out and ive been surprised at the changes. The start tutorial kinda is a drag but other than that im digging this update, it pulls me away from my Deep Rock Galactic addiction.

The game is fascinating and relaxing, so at the end I like it, and developers really shows a great passion for their game, a true example. But many things sometimes break my immersion. Creatures stacked here and there, or that moves without animation, poor creature’s animation, too much grinding, a lot of textures and geometry pop up, quite empty worlds. I play it to chill out and to imagine a bit myself in another universe, but that’s it.
