This was just a one off rebuild video to test out how you guys like it. Not sure how to feel about this game yet. There is clearly loads of things still missing from the game and countless things that need to be fixed. I like the features they added. Some things were a pleasant surprise tbh. I am cautiously optimistic for the scouting update.
@Hacker Killer Oh absolutely. I didn't even mention some of the other modes. FOTF right now is a mess. MUT is still it's usual self etc. I will keep giving my honest opinion to the devs whenever possible. Thanks for the support!

This was a cool video and I'm glad they added somethings back but alot more needs to be added I think 23 is gonna be a huge step up the gameplay engine is gonna change and maybe we might get customizable relocation teams if the idea goes well in Fifa 22

@@NTE_ also if you do, you should try moving taysom hill in different positions and/or formations because for the past few maddens, taysom just sits on the bench in simulation and gets 0 playing time

Please do more of this. This is the best Madden 22 video out there. It felt so much like a documentary, and I was actually invested in what happened.
Love how EA had coaching trees in 2014, and are just now adding it to that game like it’s a new feature

@@SolidShepard I know, but they have had coaching trees in many past games. A bunch of older madden games had them, NCAA had them. So dumb that anyone supports this
@@pohorex6834 well I'll probably get this one because this is the kind of stuff I've been asking for back since the ps2 days. But I agree, I generally only buy it once every 3 years. As a chiefs fan I also kinda have to get it when a chiefs player is on the cover, as a collectable.
But my main point is it shouldn't be news to people they do this and have done it since they got exclusive rights to the NFL license. Shows how uninformed of consumers people are.

It took you saying you havent touched a modern madden for 3 years to realize I've been watching this channel for about 4-5 years. I really hope you enjoy this madden for a long period of time, always loved your little story lines in the franchises while still having the mindset of playing a game rather than a full-on Mr Hurricane experience.

Not gonna lie, it was real refreshing to see a new cutscene for winning the Super Bowl, but the game still has problems, like it still has the same announcers it's had since 2017 and a lot of the especially annoying lines are recycled year after year, but it looks like they have taken a step, even though it's a small one, towards bettering the game, and especially franchise mode to where you get a fricken boost in it if you pre order it (although that might mean another thing for microtransactions)

I played the trial and I did like just the feel and look of the game; in some aspects it is a next gen football game. But it really pisses me off when the one major thing they tout leading up to the games release isn't even in the game at launch. Plus there is still no create-a-team and for the 10th game in a row there are still no new options for relocation. It's still the same cities, team names and uniforms. I feel the only way we are going to see good football games again is when 2K gets involved or EA just flat out loses the NFL license.
Yep. Their whole angle this year is "look, we added back a couple things we took out years ago, and hey! New menu graphics and updated rosters! You idiots will shell out $70 for that right? Yeah, you do every year.
Create a team and new relocation isn’t really deal-breaking , I think they had a huge improvement from madden 21 (next gen)
Edit: also they have a college game that’s gonna come out so I think some time from madden 22 got cut wit that, so they couldn’t add the little implements to the game
@@itsbekenotbecky i get your point but franchise in 2k is off the chain I can play with rookie kobe, or Jordan hella customization options in 2k only knock is myplayer glitches which still blows madden out the water by decades lol since madden is constantly getting worse 2k always tries to change their game for better or worse

Exactly, but the way NTE makes his video around the players and makes the team feel like your own high school team, because it’s based around the players, rather than simply building a god squad.

I just wanna tell you that your sports games videos are BY FAR the most enjoyable on the web. I grew up a sports gamer during the NES / SNES / GENESIS era and didnt play a lot of the games most channels play (RPGs / etc), so its great you do what you do. And its incredible entertaining. Keep up the great work. Look forward to your videos every time they come out.

That was a very important message at the end of the video, thank you for being brave enough to include that. Its only because of people like you, who spread the truth and make sure we as a people never forget what happened, that we can maybe hope to prevent such an absolute tragedy of humankind ever happen again. It was truly difficult, some may even say disturbing, just to witness such a harsh look at how utterly mankind can destroy one another, and how easily humanity can self-implode...and that was just as a distant witness, an outside observer at the most. I can't imagine the trauma that most of the community, and especially the victims themselves went through, and of course, are likely still working through and dealing with to this very day. People like you, NTE, brave and thoughtful enough to include that message at the end of the video, are true heroes for raising awareness to not only support/understand those affected, but also to try and prevent future groups from being subject to the same horrors, the same nightmares awakening them in cold sweats, the same relentless taunting and sarcastic sympathy. Its truly horrible.

This was some NFL Network documentary type of editing and storytelling. You did an amazing job and Id watch plenty more of these. I got goosebumps in the end. Very well done.

I guess it was a bit exaggerated. I was a cameraman for Auburn University. I did it when I was a student. Mostly did Auburn home games in every sport. Majority of those would appear on SEC Network. For football games we would work the jumbotron cameras, but occasionally ESPN would allow us to take over for the main broadcast if it was a smaller game. I was not very good, but met a lot of cool people. Learned a lot about the production of live sports. Fun job. My last one before YT took off

@@geleneceline2310 I wish they’d take more trends of how QBs perform. It seems like they have their computer models of how people develop/perform, but in reality, there are 32 starting QBs and 32 backups that should be taken on an individual basis (seeing as the QB is the leader of the team) and specialize development and performance.
Instead they just plug their ratings in and use their outdated simulation technology and boom, you have a bunch of simulated season stats that don’t indicate who that player really is

I think watching this video was more fun than playing madden if that makes sense. You give these games life and feeling with the narrative you create.
I haven’t purchased madden in years. It’s just to far behind. I can’t justify buying it when past football games STILL do so many things much better. Even past maddens.
The only reason I bought 2020 is because it was $15 on steam a couple weeks ago, and because I haven't played a madden since 2012 on the psp.
I've tried holding off on watching Madden 22 videos until I get it myself, but not only is this your first madden video since madden 19, but it's a Falcons rebuild. I have to watch it

I was expecting that when I first got it. The visuals certainly do. However the gameplay made some improvements in some sneaky ways (while also bringing some game breaking bugs). The open field blocking is much better than the last madden game I played. So was the sideline catching and the open field running. The bad though is there a ton of completely OP plays. Deep zones don't work at all half the time. So one step forward 2 steps back :(

Incredible how madden still can’t get new commentators every year or like a rotation of commentators that are actually on tv. Still using the copy paste model
Sadly it’s harder for new commentators to be on the game. That’s because they constantly have to work on adding the monologue and voices for every commentator which most of them are too busy to keep on doing

I would highly recommend waiting until the new scouting update before deciding to purchase. As of right now the game is alright, but the scouting update is what I am really excited for

"EA is aware of these bugs and they are likely to be fixed by launch" I seriously doubt it. I don't know if I can watch a Madden series. The games haven't been any good in so long.
From your playback, it looks like the game is still animation driven and players don't act or react the way an actual person would. Offensive players standing around when the QB scrambles, Defense guarding areas of the field with absolutely nobody around for 20yrds. Some of the crowd animations are better, but fans that are close to the field looking away from the field is lazy. Blocking and catching still appear to be animation driven. Same game, with a few new bells and whistles that ultimately mean nothing.

The coaching trees are identical to the ones in their NHL games. It seems like a port from those games. They need way more energy
