Also the firmware has been intentionally changed by HP so you have to stuff around with moving the old chips to your generic refills. The print quality is average at best for this segment and not very fast. The other thing I noticed is the cartridges don't last long compared to my Kyocera whose cartridges are 20% of the cost of the HP's with 3 times more pages per cart.
How would you scan a book or a magazine? I think the display will get in the way and would not allow the book to be placed completely horizontal on the scanner bed.
