I love Sneasels shiny in these games.
I wasn't surprised when you mentioned you never really had much experience using a Sneasal back in the day and I don't blame you. It was always in a late-game location as you mentioned and even worse, it can't even take advantage of it's own type's attacks since both Ice and Dark are special attack only while Sneasal has horrendous special attack.
