@@the_only_Ajinkya Not fail.. it is about completing the project to the level at which you wanted it to reach and release the film.
I am sure they will solve whatever budget issues they have, because big names are involved. Ranbir, big B, Alia all are established stars with a lot of money who can come at any point as producers to help complete the project. Also they have the contacts to get the funding and resources needed if they directly do not want to contribute.
I think the main issue here is, since Dharma is producing they probably do not want a colaboration as profit sharing will come into it and they have invested a lot in this film. I think it is more about waiting for the funds to arrive. And I suppose with the profits which good newz has made, it should't be a problem for them.

@surya Surya so see what level of hypocrite he is, If srk has star liked attitude comes late, this masand guy is boasting about it, when it comes to a guy who came from non filmy background made it big and did not join to lick their Boots that's made him had an attitude, over paid outsider and what not. Now look how he went to defending ananya pandey rejoining her stupidity, praising Alia's failure. But an outsider Making it big made his ass burn. No they don't have struggles, they don't get mentally effected by his blind items, getting replaced from movies by star kids, facing failures, not getting equal opportunity and publicity like these nepotistic kids have from people like masand. And masand clearly named 'em 'outsiders' even after working In Bollywood. If the 'outsiders' as he quoted them, trying to be humble they are trying to fit in, if they decline to join their lobby and boot lick he is having an attitude problem. I kinda used to admire the guy but after his so called dark deeds surfaced on news, I hate these personalities like him.

    Hi Ranveer,
I don't know if this comment would be seen but here is what I think the industry people need to know about US ( outsiders basically ) since everyone in the industry just plainly assumes is we are a bunch of insecure people who because they have to struggle in life always trolls the star kids.
I am from a lower middle class family and I have friends from the same class & higher & lower and we talk about this a lot so I feel in someway I can represent us ( OUTSIDERS ).
(I am not taking into account haters)
Firstly , we aren't insecure ( sigh ) , we are sad & frustrated. Let me break it to you, outsiders like us work a lot for school , colleges , spent months on cracking exams some get a job and maximum don't ( economy ) and then we have people like Ananya Pandey coming up & telling that we ( outsiders ) are extremely insensitive towards their struggle.
I can bet on that more than half the population aren't even bothered nor have the time to discuss about what star kids are upto , because the shit on our plate is overflowing.
Then we see someone who got a career almost free ( and I hope Ranveer you can understand how crucial that is because you worked hard a lot ) . The idotic comeback of how a doctor's child also have the same privelege yet no one talks about nepotism there.
On which planet it's same because it's definitely not Earth. For someone to become a doctor ( irrespective even his parents own the largest group of hospitals ) need to clear MBBS & 5 years of rigorous hardwork. Even after that if he / she doesn't become good in the craft , patients would stop coming.
On the other hand did you ever witness a star kid loose sight of media completely because of being bad in the craft ( Uday Chopra / Tushar Kapoor / Tiger Shroff among others ).
We ( outsiders ) are just offended & that's only.
P.S :- I am extremely sorry the post turned out so long but trust me when I say I haven't even stated 5% of the reason .
I really hope one day there's this open debate between star kids & us so that as you implied can have a better knowledge & understanding of their struggle & vice versa.

I know a lot of aspiring doctors who come from rich families (parents owning hospitals/ or generally rich/upper middle class) who aren't good enough to become doctors and have got a seat just because of donations and they will get jobs in their own hospitals or hospitals of their father's friends ,
What was discussed in this podcast is 100% true , we all are privileged our parents put us in schools which they can afford but at the same time there are people who are not able to go to school or go to a school which is not at your level, I was in the same school as siddhant chaturvedi (99% students come from upper middle class families and some even from very rich families) a lot of popular tv actor's send their children in my school. And he is talking about struggles . I feel that kids of ambani have it sorted and no struggle but at the same time people I know from the lower middle class think that my life is sorted and I dont have any struggles but only I know how much pressure I have to do something big in life just because my father who was from a poor family and now due to his hardwork he has given our family a very comfortable privileged life, but some poor guy will always be like iske pass sab hai usko kya struggle
The richer you are the more pressure you have coz you have a lot to loose

@@ManiacRoy while I agree that all of us are privileged in our own ways but the "top 10%" stats based on the availability of a smartphone and an internet connection seems terribly inaccurate. These are basic necessities and are used by even the poorest of the poor. Just yesterday I saw a group of teenaged labourers playing PUBG on their smartphones while waiting for their turn at the local barber shop. One of them was wearing a pair of almost fully tattered (worn out) shoes. I'm sure he had no money to afford a new pair. The point is that it's all about priorities and a smartphone with an internet connection has become a basic need even in the poor. It might not necessarily indicate a privileged background, let alone being in the top 10%.

I still dont agree with Ananya Pandey point about struggle.
Nepotism is the thing which eliminates the struggle part and the actor has to then work hard and get fame.
    Hardwork is different from struggle.
We can't deny that they work hard even if star kids but they dont have struggle to get in industry.

so see what level of hypocrite he is, If srk has star liked attitude comes late, this masand guy is boasting about it, when it comes to a guy who came from non filmy background made it big and did not join to lick their Boots that's made him had an attitude, over paid outsider and what not.

I was waiting for questions on his reviews. If actors /producers have tried to buy his review? If his relationships have soured in the industry only as result of his review on a film!
Or if actors genuinely get affected by reviews vs box office results?
    We need a part 2 please !

SRK has contributed a lot over the years .. I don’t think at this point in his life , he’s on a vacation mode and taking his life very calmly and slowly and enjoying the daily life which he may have missed in the past ! 😊

It was a very wise conversation to watch and learn so much that I've subscribed it now and I wish I may be become a content writer one day and be a part of group of content creators.
