@@the_only_Ajinkya Not fail.. it is about completing the project to the level at which you wanted it to reach and release the film.
I am sure they will solve whatever budget issues they have, because big names are involved. Ranbir, big B, Alia all are established stars with a lot of money who can come at any point as producers to help complete the project. Also they have the contacts to get the funding and resources needed if they directly do not want to contribute.
I think the main issue here is, since Dharma is producing they probably do not want a colaboration as profit sharing will come into it and they have invested a lot in this film. I think it is more about waiting for the funds to arrive. And I suppose with the profits which good newz has made, it should't be a problem for them.

Shubh Maheshwari That would be awesome!
Srk can rock in every role..he just needs to lose the "SRK" persona and be the "Character"..
Or potraying dad's role..he just want to play a hero type of role..
100% man.. no doubt.. a good negative role will suit him ..
I really thought that Fan was his comeback as an antagonist after I had watched it's trailer. I was so disappointed with how the movie turned out. The potential it had was massive.
One guy who has quietly escaped scrutiny or not explained why he did to Sushant Singh Rajput what he did is the one and only Rajeev Masand. He used to be one of the top to make the worst blinds on him. He even called him a "Skirt Chaser" . I'll post a couple of screenshots below.
1. Where Rajeev calls Sushant's calm and zen like nature fake and called him insecure.
Why does he need to explain when we dont even know that how or why did sushant die?
Noo he did not get away with it
Good for pointing this out!
@surya Surya so see what level of hypocrite he is, If srk has star liked attitude comes late, this masand guy is boasting about it, when it comes to a guy who came from non filmy background made it big and did not join to lick their Boots that's made him had an attitude, over paid outsider and what not. Now look how he went to defending ananya pandey rejoining her stupidity, praising Alia's failure. But an outsider Making it big made his ass burn. No they don't have struggles, they don't get mentally effected by his blind items, getting replaced from movies by star kids, facing failures, not getting equal opportunity and publicity like these nepotistic kids have from people like masand. And masand clearly named 'em 'outsiders' even after working In Bollywood. If the 'outsiders' as he quoted them, trying to be humble they are trying to fit in, if they decline to join their lobby and boot lick he is having an attitude problem. I kinda used to admire the guy but after his so called dark deeds surfaced on news, I hate these personalities like him.
Journalists write shit all the time.
Don't make such serious problems SSR had into such frivolous crap.
Show him some respect.
He had far bigger problems than few blind items written by someone. Every actor faces that
Would love to see Shah Rukh Khan in your podcast , it would be so insightful to have a personality like them speak and he is such an inspiring person too 💙
He can't afford SRK keep dreaming
Srk would just throw some bullshit, he is just a smart person who keeps his cards close to his heart
SRK is too full of himself.
I think the conversations are so good because of how well thought out the questions are . They are straight, direct and upfront and you immediately cut the chase and get to the point. Very informative! Thankyou for putting in so much of hardwork and sharing it with us :)

Hi Ranveer,
I don't know if this comment would be seen but here is what I think the industry people need to know about US ( outsiders basically ) since everyone in the industry just plainly assumes is we are a bunch of insecure people who because they have to struggle in life always trolls the star kids.
I am from a lower middle class family and I have friends from the same class & higher & lower and we talk about this a lot so I feel in someway I can represent us ( OUTSIDERS ).
(I am not taking into account haters)
Firstly , we aren't insecure ( sigh ) , we are sad & frustrated. Let me break it to you, outsiders like us work a lot for school , colleges , spent months on cracking exams some get a job and maximum don't ( economy ) and then we have people like Ananya Pandey coming up & telling that we ( outsiders ) are extremely insensitive towards their struggle.
I can bet on that more than half the population aren't even bothered nor have the time to discuss about what star kids are upto , because the shit on our plate is overflowing.
Then we see someone who got a career almost free ( and I hope Ranveer you can understand how crucial that is because you worked hard a lot ) . The idotic comeback of how a doctor's child also have the same privelege yet no one talks about nepotism there.
On which planet it's same because it's definitely not Earth. For someone to become a doctor ( irrespective even his parents own the largest group of hospitals ) need to clear MBBS & 5 years of rigorous hardwork. Even after that if he / she doesn't become good in the craft , patients would stop coming.
On the other hand did you ever witness a star kid loose sight of media completely because of being bad in the craft ( Uday Chopra / Tushar Kapoor / Tiger Shroff among others ).
We ( outsiders ) are just offended & that's only.
P.S :- I am extremely sorry the post turned out so long but trust me when I say I haven't even stated 5% of the reason .
I really hope one day there's this open debate between star kids & us so that as you implied can have a better knowledge & understanding of their struggle & vice versa.
I know a lot of aspiring doctors who come from rich families (parents owning hospitals/ or generally rich/upper middle class) who aren't good enough to become doctors and have got a seat just because of donations and they will get jobs in their own hospitals or hospitals of their father's friends ,
What was discussed in this podcast is 100% true , we all are privileged our parents put us in schools which they can afford but at the same time there are people who are not able to go to school or go to a school which is not at your level, I was in the same school as siddhant chaturvedi (99% students come from upper middle class families and some even from very rich families) a lot of popular tv actor's send their children in my school. And he is talking about struggles . I feel that kids of ambani have it sorted and no struggle but at the same time people I know from the lower middle class think that my life is sorted and I dont have any struggles but only I know how much pressure I have to do something big in life just because my father who was from a poor family and now due to his hardwork he has given our family a very comfortable privileged life, but some poor guy will always be like iske pass sab hai usko kya struggle
The richer you are the more pressure you have coz you have a lot to loose

Perfectly said.
@@ManiacRoy while I agree that all of us are privileged in our own ways but the "top 10%" stats based on the availability of a smartphone and an internet connection seems terribly inaccurate. These are basic necessities and are used by even the poorest of the poor. Just yesterday I saw a group of teenaged labourers playing PUBG on their smartphones while waiting for their turn at the local barber shop. One of them was wearing a pair of almost fully tattered (worn out) shoes. I'm sure he had no money to afford a new pair. The point is that it's all about priorities and a smartphone with an internet connection has become a basic need even in the poor. It might not necessarily indicate a privileged background, let alone being in the top 10%.

Youre doing great bro. From ‘i dont miss your podcasts’ to ‘I can’t wait for your next podcast’, my love for your work has only grown each episode. But having said that i have one piece of advice, please streamline your questions. The flow of questions is so random, i feel lost at the end sometimes. For eg: here i was hoping you would start asking Rajeev how he became a film critic, tips for budding critics, then ask abt his work pressures, social media influences on reviewing, and then maybe last section you can ask all the bollywood related questions!
I still dont agree with Ananya Pandey point about struggle.
Nepotism is the thing which eliminates the struggle part and the actor has to then work hard and get fame.
Hardwork is different from struggle.
We can't deny that they work hard even if star kids but they dont have struggle to get in industry.
Cricket Daily I absolutely agree Ms Pandey would never had got a chance had she not been part of the film fraternity!
Struggle means different things for different people. You don't get to gatekeep what people consider struggle.
Struggle is very subjective there are many different struggles faced by many it doesn't mean one is struggling less than the others
What ranveer pointed out is what ananya actually meant. She didn't word it out properly. You're discussing about nepotism while there are people starving on the streets. The begger thinks that your struggle is stupid. Get it ?? STRUGGLE IS RELATIVE. Also Its the comments section you can say what you want.
Well put.

And which better sports superstar in India other than Virat Kohli. Especially when he is one of the most followed celebrities (Most followed Indian) and athletes in the world. Besides he has got the looks as well and has got some experience doing "Manyavar" ads with Anushka 😂.
@@adawgisagangster comment shows where you coming from.Thats sad
Rajeev Masand hair looks like when you roll back you hair with shampoo in them
That's weirdly accurate
Indeed, recognition skills
Thank you Guruji Bhaiya give us back to back upgrade. We are continuing learning from you. Your all show are fantastic. Carry on Bhaiya.

Next time the best international critical that India has, Mr. KAMAL R KHAN..!! 🤣🤣🤣 He has a great set of speaking skill too if you hear him talking in his reviews 😝
@@ShubhamSingh-dc2yo yes he is like you, no doubt. Give unwanted comments 🐕
@@presidentphiliprusel4203 hahahaha so true

Hey Ranveer it's good to see that you started working on his fitness goals again in 2020. It's quite visible from your arms coming in shape 👍🔥
It's not about the struggle , it's about a fair chance .

Wowww such interesting interview.. tq ranveer for bringing Rajeev Masand.. He is my fav interviewer / reviewer.. Pls bring my another fav Anupama Chopra..
Is this a coincidence I just get recommendation of Actors Roundtable 2017 😂
8th View Ranveer . Brother I literally learned English just by being with your TRS. I mean flawless English. Great work ! Keep going.
@BeerBiceps very good interview
Informative and learning
Thanks!
I was waiting for questions on his reviews. If actors /producers have tried to buy his review? If his relationships have soured in the industry only as result of his review on a film!
Or if actors genuinely get affected by reviews vs box office results?
We need a part 2 please !
Such a fun interview
SRK has contributed a lot over the years .. I don’t think at this point in his life , he’s on a vacation mode and taking his life very calmly and slowly and enjoying the daily life which he may have missed in the past ! 😊
It was a very wise conversation to watch and learn so much that I've subscribed it now and I wish I may be become a content writer one day and be a part of group of content creators.
I just loved the entire conversation.
Amazing piece of content, so naturally beautiful
