China Exchange 2018 Best Bits

It has been a fruitful year at China Exchange and we've loved having you with us! We've explored the world of writing from and about China with talks from writers such as best-selling contemporary Chinese writer Yan Geling, Raise the Red Lantern author Su Tong, British-Chinese writer Xue Xinran and TV Chef and cookbook author Ching He Huang. We've had inspiring conversations with extraordinary people from former leader of the Liberal Democrats, Lord Ashdown to contemporary dancer and choreographer, Akram Khan.
We challenged Team GB and Team India to go head-to-head against Team China for the top spot in Battle of Tea Time and Battle of the Strings. We've learnt about the culture of Baijiu and tasted some of China's regional cuisines. We've discovered the secret history of Chinatown through our walking tours with guests from all over the world.
For the second time, we've danced at the Southbank Centre's China Changing Festival celebrating the art of Chinese Calligraphy and dance and we've enjoyed presenting a unique art fair celebrating East Asian culture in the heart of Chinatown.
