Initially mine was very tight. I had to grab back part of light with both hands, 1:17 in video, and work it loose that way. It will eventually loosen up, takes some effort though because a bit hard to grasp.
@@skyerio Any trick to getting it loose if wiggling the heck out of it like you do in the video doesn't loosen it? My left turn signal went out on my '13 Turbo and I was trying to replace the bulb, but I can't get the housing off. I tried taking the housing off the right side to test see if I was doing something wrong and it came out no issues.
@@GruntledSinistar83 I remember the first time I had to remove it was tight and more difficult to remove. I used the palms of my hand to hit surface of taillight towards the rear of car direction.
@@skyerio yeah I followed your video even put my hands the same place but it's like it's really stuck on the disk/notch part up where it connects up front.
All I needed to know in minimal time.
Brilliant! Thank. you.

My veloster 2012, bought in Germany has LED brake lights. Older, yet different specs, quite unusual. Reverse, indicator are normal bulbs though.

You have to turn it
How come the right light is tighter to get out than the left one?
perhaps it has been removed before. They can be slightly easier to remove once removed once or more times.
