- A few people and cars are still on the streets of London as the British capital wakes up to a three week lockdown in an attempt to curb the spread of the deadly coronavirus. Prime Minister Boris Johnson late on Monday bowed to pressure to follow other European countries in shutting most shops and services, as the death toll reached 335.

Half the news is saying London is dead. The other half is saying people aren't listening and it's as packed as ever...

London is a huge place in the main parts ware there are lots of police it's dead but in the more quieter parts with not many police people are still gathering racing cars etc it need to be stamped out now

Hardware store rules need to change.
One: online delivery isn't not a store.
Two: they use contractors so no liability for them to deliver there good.
Three: contractors hands are tied because MR ikea knows a guy in parliament they said he'll keep the online delivery open.
Employees have had zero help or info from these big companies, no even a health and safety "chat" nothing.
You think IKEA or hmv or Topshop care about you the customer....your wrong. The load is what matters.

Sorry if this is unrelated to the topics but just wanted to say one important thing which is UK supermarkets tend to be useless at crises like this. They said they will feed us but they couldn't. I know they never experinced such a demand but they should have studied it and took precautions if this will ever happend what should they do.. i didnt do panic buy but i am panicking now as nothing there from essential food to get from supermarkets non i could ever ordered from their online websites. To the extent they cant let you register if you are a new costomer.
Here is what this governmnet should have done beside giving whole trust to the useless at crises supermarkets.
They should have made kind of associations on every city and town, people register themselves with their particular city/town association which is led by government and cheaper to get a month to three/ six months supply of essential food like flour, rice,long life milk, pasta,oil etc AND toilet tissues (which can be replaced by doing DIY of mini shower next to the toilet seat cheap from ebay and cleans you better).
Then if that happened most of people would have stayed at home rigth from the start not going out looking for these foods to feed their family.
The government put their trust in supermarkets and here we go.they couldnt feed us!!!! I hope they can feed themselves.
