What's amazing here is that a female high key was able to reach by a male singer with a head tone clear voice (not falsetto) and even made the pitch higher. This is actually mind blowing. 🤯🔥
So, here's the story. Stell went on stage for his soundcheck, David heard him singing and asked him if he wanted to sing, "All by Myself," Stell was stunned and all he could do was say, "yes," and nod. He just went along with the flow and David shocked him by asking him if he's game to perform, "All by Myself," for the main show. Basically, Stell was only supposed to open the show with his 3 songs, "Defying Gravity," "All I Ask," and "Room," but David made him come back for the main show and he ended up being the highlight of the concert. He was trending the moment clips from the con was released and he's in every news outlet here in the PH 😭

Celine Dione sang the same song with David. David said that Celine had to do that high note a few times during the rehearsals before she got it. He told Stell that he has only one chance to do it. Stell said that he was so nervous, he kept on praying. 😲☺️

Stell was invited to do be the front act. He sang 3 songs but during the soundcheck David asked him if he could sing All by Myself. He only had one practice. Stell was made part of the main show. ❤❤❤❤❤

He is actually singing Celine DIon's version, not the original, which presumably is more popular and its what I suppose your grandma compared with. I'd love to see you react to her version. Either the official video(which is captivating), or one of her 90's live performances. That high note you discussed comes of her version.
Stell is countertenor one of the rare vocals, he did an amazing performance here in fact he sang three songs All I ask by Adelle ,Room which is his new solo singlef and Defying gravity for the opening act

Stell's performance is nothing short of impressive. And what makes it even more incredible is that it was unplanned, not part of the concert repertoire, and an impromptu challenge from David Foster. It's even nerve-wracking because the song has "impossible notes." Stell had already sung three high-pitched and vocally demanding songs, and to top it off, he's not in the best condition (he's sick). I had to mention, too, that a day prior to the concert, SB19 had intense performances at an event. And the elephant in the room-he's a man, hitting the piece in female key and doing it cleanly.
It was an impromptu performance, Stell only rehearsed his part on opening act wherein he would sing 3songs, that's all, then after his performance, he was again call back by Mr David Foster on stage and showed him a video of an interview of Celine Dion when she said he get mad at David because he changed the key of All of myself to a more higher key..Then, David said to Stell , "Will you give it a try? You can only sing this once", and so he goes..😊👏👍😚🥰❤️💕
