Thanks again to everyone for supporting this Dimash reaction. As I said this is a complete new lane for me music wise, so I dont know much about what I am hearing. For someone to be able to do this and many other genres of music like Dimash, is just amazing, so I will continue to react to all the different things he does. Please like, comment, share, and subscribe

This was a dream come true for Dimash. He shared that, at the age of 5, he had a VHC recording of a concert of Maestro Domingo, and he dreamed from then of meeting and working with him. I am sure Dimash appreciated the opportunity to be a judge on the Virtuoso Program, featuring young classical artists, at the invitation of Maestro Domingo. We will continue to support Dimash as he reaches for his dreams. The story of the song is that these are life long friends who had fallen in love with the same women (the goddess) and chose their friendship over love. They met again, later in life, and reiterated their commitment to each other.

Thanks for your reaction! This is the beauty of Dimash, as he motivates people to listen to music that they have never listened to before))

Thank you, this was a really big deal, for Dimash, since he was a little kid he wanted to sing with Placido Domingo.
What I understand, is the “goddess,” was a woman both men loved, but they didn’t want to mess up their friendship, so they both didn’t pursue her.

This is a very popular song from an opera that is frequently sung in concerts as was just now. It is beautiful listening to great voiced classical male singers when they can display their talents so well.
The story is of two pearl fishermen who were great friends until they both fell in love with the same temple priestess/godess , but decided that their brotherly love was greater than their love for her, and so walked away from her.

This one is in French The Pearl Fishers) is an opera in three acts by the French composer Georges Bizet, Two life long friends fall for the same woman and decide their friendship is more important so they do not pursue her.

I like that you were willing to give this a go, despite it being a long way from your comfort zone! (Yes, the instruments were indeed a trombone and a harp!)
    Hopefully, you enjoyed the experience?

No, this has nothing to do with the Catholic religion. It's set in a primitive fishermen's village where two friends who are fishermen in the village see a beautiful new priestess, like a goddess, come to serve in the village temple and both fall in love with her. The two friends vow to not let a woman come between them. Gorgeous opera excerpt.

If you are a rap fan, do Dimash, Be With Me MV. He sings in English and raps in Kazakh. Also, check out some of Dimash's Kazakh music, Dudaraz (rockish), Kieli Meken, and Omir for starters.

Loved your reaction and yes, as others are saying take some time to understand the song. It really helps understand more fully the lyrics and how these amazing performers are able to sing together and harmonize their voices. ❤❤❤🇨🇦

Thanks so much, this is definitely a new field for me. I will look up the songs from now on to try to get a little context before reacting

    Subscribed.👍
I was very impressed with your willingness to tackle a genre that is as far from Rap as you can go and still be music.❤
Thank you for helping me to understand why I have always struggled with Rap (until Ren came along😏)
Obviously Rap is a genre for thinkers, those that want to stay in their head.
Whereas I prefer to experience music with my heart and senses. Main reason I love Metal and Opera and to a lesser degree Pop.
You are totally offbase with what the song is about but that is perfectly fine.🥰🥰😂
The openess to give it a go was very impressive👍👍👍
I suspect that it would be easier to start with other Dimash genres that have more straightforward storytelling lyrics.
    Perhaps something like:
"Samaltau" (kazak folk story based on a soldiers letter from WW1),
or "Be With Me"MV ( be warned that the song is in english but Rap section in Kazak. The rap section defies close interpretation because of the cultural differences but perhap focus and apply your knowledge on the cadence🤔)
Thank you very much for featuring Dimash on your channel.
Now I am off to check out my 2 favorite Rappers, Ren and Dax, which I suspect you must have in your catalogue.
    🥰🥰Hugs from Canada🇨🇦

Thanks so much for the sub. Yes Ren and Dax I have reacted to several times, 2 of the best out there. Just recently started down the Ren rabbit hole, Dimash reminds me of him, being able to play many different instruments and do different genres. No surprise I was wrong lol, the first reaction I did to Dimash was "When I've got you" and loved it. Hope you enjoy everything

Understanding would come a whole lot easier if you stopped reading and just listened. Sounds counter intuitive but works. Even close your eyes.

You show your inexperience with good singing. You also showed that you're not really interested in opera. You could have oigked the opera what's it about.

The translation is not good, so it may not make sense to you, or me, its quite confusing.
It is French song, not Italian and not Catholic, and not about Mary.
Please try to listen to other performances, where he sings in any genre you want. Also he can sing in 16 languages and has 7,7 vocal range. So tnere is a lot of choice.

This is not the best rendition. Look on RUclips for the Pearl Fishers sung by Robert Merrill and Jussi Bjorling it is generally accepted as the ultimate performance of this duet. It will move you to tears with its beauty.

Это не стереотип. Это отсутствие образования. 😢 И кстати, рэп это не музыка. Это речитатив под ритм. Жаль вас...
