OMG, you are like me. I like using google maps to look at the surrounding streets and fall in love with it all. :)

Isn't it SO much fun! It's not available on every street but most of them and you get to see all the old buildings and architecture. I love it! Thanks for sharing my passion and watching my channel Eric.

Wow, jumping from 50K to 80K makes a huge difference in the quality of property available! At first glance it seems better value to buy in this range than buying in the cheaper range and then spending so much money and time renovating...

Hi Paul, thanks for watching and yes, the jump in price does make a difference but one thing I've learnt watching the market for a while now is that sometimes there isn't a lot of reasoning behind the pricing of properties. So you may find an absolute gem in the lower price bracket. Otherwise, yes, often it makes sense to purchase a property in the higher bracket and have less renovation costs or choose one that's already been renovated and move in straight away or rent it out straight away. Lots of choices.

@@BuyingahouseinItaly have you been to Montepucciano or Lucca?? If so, do you have a presence or a home finder you could recommend? I’ve been circling these areas of Tuscany for ease of access in and out of Florence. Any guidance is greatly appreciated!

Hi Felisha, I have been to Lucca and it is absolutely gorgeous! Haven't been to Montepucciano though but I'm sure it's equally as beautiful. I don't yet know of a property finder in that area but perhaps contact Davide Mengoli from Salento with Love and ask if he can recommend anyone in that region. Best of luck! And I hope my upcoming videos continue to be helpful to you.

Finding it very difficult to get a good agency

Hi Brigid, I'm sorry to hear that. Are you searching yourself and dealing with real estate agents directly? What area are you looking in? This is why we chose to use a property finder - Davide Mengoli from Salento with Love - because we found the agents difficult to deal with and it's hard to know who to trust.

Hi Juliette, I've got another video in the series for buying houses under 50k. Here's the link: ruclips.net/video/oy6HFjiIUU8/видео.html As for only speaking English in Italy...I recommend learning some Italian so that at least you can be polite when you arrive but Italians are very forgiving if you at least try to speak their beautiful language.
