Thanks this makes alot of sense. Did the same thing when i was struggling with death anxiety. I was always trying to solve it and understand it and that made it really hard to shake.
I love this video…It speaks to me because I’m not a particularly jealous man and I’m still not. I’ve been married to my wife for well over twenty years and for some reason I only have an issue with one man from her past…And it’s solely because of his nationality/ethnicity…This is because of the issues and friction between the two communities… Even though this past relationship was before I knew her I still feel like she slept with the enemy…. I know it’s irrational yet it still bothers me to this day and I think how could she have dated a man from that country???? This helps me understand that I’ll never understand and to accept this fact……
I just wanted to add that not all retroactive jealousy stems from insecurities, envy, ego, comparisons, or other negative traits or emotions… And although the new partner should not judge anyone for their past experiences people will sometimes be surprised by their partner’s choices and decisions in former partners/lovers even when there’s no jealousy, resentment, or judgement……
I struggle with this because my boyfriends ex wife broke in and attacked me in the middle of the night and I woke up with blood all over my face and her going to jail. Mine is compounded with trauma so it is pretty bad, had it for 2 years, tried multiple therapists. Thank you for your channel

But my husband spoke about his previous love every night .I thought he wanted to provok jelousy in me . he adored other women to me . He started to do the same lately .and always denys doing anything at all .To him , it is me who has the problem of being so sensitive ... I don' t know whether it is my retroactive jelousy or his bad behavior that bothers me ...Thanks
