Some excellent work done here, lovely to see the staithes being cleared. Re Bacton, I think it's great to see one lock restored as long as this isn't done to the others, which would rob them of their "lost" beauty. I did chuckle to see the guys in boiler suits clambering down into Ebridge via ladder, I swam there a few weeks ago in my trunks :-)) Check my 2 videos for the canal end to end as it was in 2010, before the restoration work (and the lock part completed),
Hi Jim Glad you enjoyed the video. It is unlikely that the canal will ever be re-opened for cruisers but large stretches are ideal for canoes. You can follow the progress on the official EAWA website Regards Jonno
