- Welcome to my channel, if you're new here my name is Peachy and this channel is all about my Sylvanian Families / Calico Critters collection.
Today I'm unboxing some vintage sets from Japan containing all sorts of different tools! These pieces are very detailed, most with metal parts alongside the plastic. I hope you enjoy looking at these items in more detail with me!

I love these old sets more and more, they are so realistic and detailed. Sylvanian Families has this gift of having such different ranges of toys that sometimes when I'm playing with old families and old accessories and I decide to compare them with the current ones, the difference is so much that it almost seems like they are totally different brands. I really like this follow-up that Sylvanian Families makes to new times but I confess that I have a lot of fun with the old sets. I loved seeing these up close, thank you❤.
I totally get what you mean, the very oldest sets are so different to the newest! Not necessarily in a bad way, just different. I must admit I am more fond of the older sets though, probably some nostalgia playing into that!
Honestly gobsmacked at how well preserved everything is, incredible find! Also, adore the rug in the molehill!
I was too, I think these older pieces are just of such good quality, they were really built to last! The rug is from a dollhouse brand, apologies I can't remember which one now!
Oooh so cute! So happy I found your channel! 🥰
Thank you! Glad to have you here 😊
I love the baby mole in the wheel barrow. He looks adorable!! I hope you find the wood chopping set. It will go perfect with your set up today!
Thank you! I filmed this a while ago now and have since managed to find the wood chopping set! 😁
@@PeachysSylvanianVillage I am so happy to hear that!
Oh wow those really do look realistic! That's great they used real metal in the tools.
I think maybe that first tool is some kind of machete?? I've never seen a saw like that green one tho
Not that I work with tools ever lol
The scene you set up looks perfect, I can't believe those rubber bands were intact!
Edit: Did a quick google search and the first thing might be a Japanese saw, and the green one might be a frame saw??
Thank you for watching! That's really helpful to know, I know next to nothing about tools 😂 I was very surprised to see the rubber bands still stretchy enough to work, was fully expecting them to just snap due to the age!
Stinky cute
Thank you for watching!
