This was a old version of michael he just use corey as his member or helper if you see he could not walk and when he kill the kid in front of corey he just feel the blood again and just stop so he lost his ability and and killing again was good for him so he basically use him to know where laurie is just to make the last fight ones and for all

Yeah, that did happen but you’re such a remember. There are two different timelines where Michael kills his sister, his niece and Laurie and there’s one where she finally killed him although when they said that they were brother and sister anymore, it was like that is fucking stupid.

@@Saint3188 Yup... I kinda knew a bit about what I was in for beforehand so I wasn't shocked, I had prepared myself for the worst and hoped for the best. I try and look at the movie as its own thing but you just can't do that when its the final film in a trilogy that does hark back to the original lol Just save this "idea" for another movie after we get a grand finale. I agree, it's hard to place it anywhere other than really low on a list that's not exactly burning bright with stars. So disappointed in this movie, gut-wrenching to end Michael Myers in this pathetic weak way. I enjoyed the first two ( yes , I like Kills lol), this is just... Uhhgh. Halloween movies may be lame but they have a rewatch factor. This one is just... I can't even bare to re-watch it and it's brand new. There's just nothing there to want to revisit.
@CurtSeavers I haven't watched it since seeing it in the theater last. I didn't mind Kills at all because at least it was entertaining despite my issues with it. It's clear that not alot of thought or care was put into it I know the argument is that we'll It's different but it doesn't make it good at all and when it was over I was like that's it.
This part reminds of the 1978 classic Halloween movie where Michael Myers pined a guy up against the refrigerator door

I don't have a problem with this Corey kid being a pupil of Michael's. But they didn't need to make Michael a weak ass punk bitch to accomplish it. It would have been so fascinating and badass If Michael was still as strong as he was in the other movies. But he see's his younger self in this kid. He see's his own darkness in this young boy and in a rare moment of empathy, shows him mercy and actually teaches him how to kill people. Like even though Michael doesn't talk to him verbally, they still understand each other. They understand the pain of being outcasts. Their was some real potential here. The scenes where Corey and Michael are working together are some of the only scenes I like. But all of this amounts to nothing. Michael is weak as fuck, Corey walks all over him. To which, Corey just gets killed anyways and so does Michael. So wtf was the point of any of this? Michael should have died but Corey should have lived. So even though Michael dies, his darkness lives on. The evil is still out there. That would have been scary as fuck that you can kill Michael but even in death he still wins.
This movie has Halloween in it but Michael is in the background somewhere 😂😂

To be honest, even though they had pumpkins and trick or treaters scattered in the movie it never even felt like Halloween. It could have been set in July for all I know. There's a certain vibe and atmosphere the first four movies created that it felt like Halloween. These new movies just seem.... too glossy, too slick (?). They just don't feel like Halloween movies, and this one was the cherry on the top.
As a Michael Myers cosplayer who went to see this film in costume… I’d say they did not give my boy mike enough screen time 😢

Michael is hidden in the background in this movie in some scenes he didn't have alot of screen time but he was still there the movie was about all the damage he caused to everyone in the town that's why he wasn't there alot
This would have been a great movie, if it wasn't the finale tbh
Michael at the beginning of Halloween ends, when he started to pursue Corey, then Michael still had power, but he decided to give it to Corey and Corey thereby gradually became stronger to the level of HK Michael, and stomped on a head that was supposedly a human he can't do it either, and then at the end of the movie, when Michael killed Corey, he regained the HK power and fought Laurie, it's true that he was crushed, but he fought quite hard and threw and smashed Laurie.

For the final movie it would’ve been better if they did a scene of the aftermath from kills and then show a radio or something saying “it’s been 4 years since the carnage of Michael myers”
Notice how, through both videos, a total screen time added up to roughly 16 minutes of total screen time out of a pretty much 2 hour movie

I don’t know why everyone hates on the Michael Vs Corey scene so much? Cause tbh for the most part Michael destroys Corey. Corey just gets the upper hand for one second. If Corey didn’t run away and it was a fight too the death that scene would be Corey’s last moments.
I think its because Myers struggles with Corey - they are literally running around left and right like a road runner and coyote cartoon, it's ridiculous. The fact Myers even struggles with this "nerd" is just insulting, let alone him putting him down in a fight and stealing his mask. It's just ridiculous. it's as embarrassing as Busta Rhymes karate kicking Myers through a window in H8.
@Curtseavers yeah I know it is angering but what I think is what gets too far is when I find out that Corey’s actor was getting death threats 😬 I don’t think his acting job was that bad it was just the source material.

For all the people complaing how weak Michael was, it's weird it's almost like he is a 65 yr old man who was literally beaten, stabbed, shot, ran over, and lit on fire. All the while living on scraps for the past four years.
The point of his role in Halloween Ends was to show his human aspects so that all of you can stop blabbing on about how he is a cursed immortal monster when in this timeline he's only human.
Is that so? Because to me, Michael is 100% supernatural in 2018 and Kills. Ends was a slap in the face based on how you explained it when you said he's only human. He's no human or a man. He is evil.
@@squishyman0829 except the directors EXPLICTILY said that Michael is only human in this timeline and Halloween 1978 is the only halloween in this timeline that actually happened, no voodoo, no sibling relation to Laurie, no nothing. Just a crazed man with little to no self-preservation for himself trying to kill as many people as he can.

Michael became 100% supernatural in Halloween 2018 & Halloween Kills based on how Laurie explained it at the end of Kills and I say the trilogy ends with Kills instead of Ends. Halloween Ends feels like a standalone Christine remake film because of Corey instead of an actual sequel to Halloween Kills. For example: Michael survives after he killed the mob and his evil lives on, Laurie's in trauma and has trouble moving on after she finds out her daughter Karen died because of Michael, Allyson is also in trauma after Michael killed her parents, Cameron, her friends, and the entire town of Haddonfield lives in Michael's shadow.

I feel like ONE Simple thing they could've done that tilted how Bad/Good the Movie was for Fans completely was to instead of making a whole new Character, Corey. Just did not work for me, it's not a terrible movie it's just not what I wanted as a finale. Being different is cool but sometimes you have to work within a structure, this was way too off grid. It's the final movie in a trilogy, the 13th movie in a franchise -- just land the plane home safe and sound, not the time to go experimental. Insane choices have soiled what had been a really entertaining "revival". Typical Halloween movie sequel though, they always mess it up lol

What I like and don't like about halloween ends:
Pros:
Perfect michael myers mask
Acting is just as good as ever
Nice gore
Still better than halloween 6 and 7
Michael's breathing noises are nice and spooky
I like Corey cunningham
Cons:
Killed Corey off too quickly, wanted to see him make more kills with his own mask before trying to take Michael's.
Wish I saw more interactions between Michael and Corey
Michael should be more on-screen.
Include the scene with Corey's mom getting killed, but have Michael do it rather than Corey, to remove one of corey's emotional ties to make him a better apprentice.
Had Corey and Laurie fight for a little bit longer
Leave Corey's fate a little more ambigious
And finally, have Laurie damage Michael a little more before finally pinning him and slitting his throat, maybe she could knock him to the table by shooting him with the shotgun, before pinning his hands with the knife, and maybe even have Michael succeed in taking Laurie with him.
(Oh, and I would like if it ended with Corey and Alice leaving the town together, with Alice not knowing the future shape is following her.)
