in the second game brumaks were more introduced throughout since in gears 1 (other than windows) you never really fought them, Gears 3 toned it down idk why but what I know is there wasnt any berserkers at the time in gears 2.
Remastering this game would be the greatest idea they can do. Every gears player from ultimate edition n 5 n 4 would come to gears 2 remastered no doubt
