There’s another chest under the bridge near Celeste. As well as before you cross the bridge in the next area (on the far wall where the fireball drops on the enemies)
Thank you! I now have more space in my PC so I have been going through honestly close to 300 clips & ideas lol. All disorganized, but slowly putting together a video now as I scrub the clips to find what I need lol. I eventually want to be making more regular content cuz I am still having fun with this game & the deeper I get, the more I keep learning & it would be great to share the methods I found to make AD, gold, how to gain more item level, plenty of topics I just need to find a better method of organizing raw footage cuz it piles up xD
The last time I played this was uhh probably 2 years ago, decided to try it out again. So this was a nice reintroduction since alot has changed since then.
That's awesome I am glad you got something from it:) My work life has been pretty busy, but in case I can't make a video sharing it, a new class "Bard" is about to come out on live servers soon. Its being tested in beta atm, but some people are liking it as an option as well:P
@@linkinemerson8620 yea I saw that was coming soon. From what I've seen the Bard looks good and it's play style is something new, so I'm excited to try it out 😀
just got done running a dungeon with clyff! great player and great toon so far! cant wait to see more about his journeys and about some early endgame stuff and such like "I hit 80!...Now What?! and Companion gear? why cant i find any?:) Overall good video for what it is thanks for putting in the time and effort!
Thank you David, that was a really fun run we did beatin up on that ole pirate lol. focusing on comp gear & runestones for their gear I think could make for a great video actually as it took me a bit to find a great place to farm it. Try finding any videos on Stardock. That is where I got all of mine from, including an extra full set I saved for Clyff on my first Character! & you have to eventually run those to complete the campaigns regardless so the extra comp gear & such I found where some of the earliest items that actually sold for some good AD (astral diamonds). Another video would be suitable for mounts, mount collars, & insigs would prolly be good too down the line:)
Thank you! I thought about it, & even had levels 1-5, 6-10, 11-15 planned out as I figured that would show the basics of following the quest paths, & unlocking the ability to que up dungeons. The issue is its really hard to trim those down while giving enough info & I seemed to get a decent amount of comments mentioning how long my last starter day 1 vid was (44 min) it had about the same amount of info, but I thought showing more initial battling & following the pathways would be helpful, but most get it once I mention it briefly.. You can see if I'm not careful I can overexplain & get longwinded haha. But this Thursday I will be starting to release smaller videos just going over 1 or 2 small parts of the game so if people happen to search for that 1 thing they don't need to dig through a longer video trying to find it, & hopefully that will allow me to get a few more videos out quicker as it is a fun side hobby:) Next Thursday for sure is scheduled my "Is NW pay to win" topic. I will see if I can get 2 smaller vids out before that:D
@@linkinemerson8620 I can see the struggle here haha but it doesn’t even have to be too detailed. In my opinion just going over enchantments (gear, general), what mounts and companions do and what you should do with AD or Zen etc would be really helpful
Thanks for the comment. I hope it helps you get started out. A lot of easy tricks that just help out early a ton:P Especially the teleportation stone:D
Good video! Very informative and helpful. Didnt know you can make your own bio. Learning many different things than when i first played. Keep up the hard work ^^
Just got it for free on on PS network played a little and enjoy it still watching your video hopefully i can learn a thing or 2, thanks for the info though great vid so far.
Awesome, yea I tried my best to make it so people on console could also at least understand reading the maps, & journal etc, but you guys have menu dropdowns:P
Tyvm Nam. The most confusing thing for me wasn't figuring out how to click & hit the enemy, but on how to navigate & use many of the menus & options so I tried covering that while not making the video several hours long lol. I am getting a bit of a schedule together & as I make more videos I am getting a bit quicker also so I hope to be putting up vids more frequently. I have a list of vids & 1 coming soon:)
@@linkinemerson8620 I think the hardest thing for me was either how to get astral diamonds and zen (still working on that), and how to upgrade my armor.
@@NamLe-gr6xp My latest video about how to queue does quickly go over how to earn 100k AD per day. I didn't want to mix too many topics so I briefly touch on it & plan to make a vid going over the main 3 currencies (gold, AD, zen) but the other types of currencies, what to use them for etc. So its big enough to have its own video:P I also have a video going in deep detail exactly how to get a full 1225 armor set without having to fight any enemies, Its the Avernus Wastes video:P
Thank you:) There is just so much that a new player could learn, but I figured some of the very best things to learn day 1 is how to navigate & use the map, quest journal, etc. I should be releasing some much shorter vids soon on specific topics now:P
@@linkinemerson8620 when will you do that video on your opinion is it p2w or not in my opinion its not because you can get same stuff while grinding but it does consume a lot of time hehe
@@CosmicBlackstar Its on my short list to do for sure as I have a rough outline of the topics I wanna touch on in various chats & comments I have seen. & my own personal take which I don't think would make for a good detailed comment lol. But its close to your view point with a couple extra thoughts I've come up with. I have been working a lot of overtime recently so I have a couple vids started, but not done yet. Hmm, I will try getting that one out within the next 2 weeks after 1 or 2 other short vids. That way I have some fair pressure to complete it as its a very interesting topic:D
Hey Linkin I just found your channel today! I started the game yesterday and so far really enjoy it. I really enjoyed your video. You’ve earned a subscriber. Keep up the fantastic work brother ❤️
Thank you very much for the compliments. It may not seem like much when compared to folks with thousands of subs, but I have been very humbled & surprised that I have been getting subs here & there even though I don't have a lot out yet. My real life work has really been needing extra help cuz since the unmentioned lots of people have moved, quit, many simply won't look for work when they can keep collecting unemployment either lol. & honestly I can't really blame people for that choice, That said I have lots of footage recorded & many other video plans on the list in order roughly, just need the time to finish them up & make sure they are clean & presentable. I would rather put out polished stuff slowly then release regular vids that had a lot of fluff & not as much help when doing game guides that is:P Sry for the rant, but again thank you for the comment & if you ever5 have a question or thought as you progress mention it & I don't mind trying to help for what its worth:)
Thanks! I just got back from a big vaca otherwise I would have commented sooner:D Yep, other than the drop-down menus the console versions have all the same content so you aren't missing anything really:P
That is awesome:D & like half-orc its not really a race/class combo you would think of, but there are ways to always make any combo work. For my half-orc Ive really begun to hone the crit side to when I hit I get more agro as a tank which is nice. I still havanet built out a healer side yet but getting crits on a big heal will be good too. I wanna play a tiefling role, but havent decided which class I wanna do. I want some little back story too:D Maybe if I do some more NW vids I can ask people what my new story should be lol.
Seems quite a fun game! I started playing this week and so far has been pretty good. Considering that I lost most interest on any mmorpg, this one has doing quite well for me. I just need adjust some time to play it. Didn't watched the whole video, but I will. It's sleep time, haha, good night!
You picked a great time to start. They recently did a new mod 21 & as a new player you get rewarded a lot more than before which helps your progression & learning the extra items & such:)
Things have slightly changed since their latest updates but many of the mechanics are the same. You can go to the same area where they give you a mount & buy 1 for 1 gold I believe. I also think you earn 2 mount requisition coins, but I can't recall where the 2nd one is given. But those starter mounts I think are just 1 gold which you should have now from the quest rewards.
A bit back they now have lowered the max character level to 20. The "power" & all was kept the same for this change, but each level combined 4 or 5 levels of xp from before. They said it was to keep the more D&D style since apparently 20 was the best level one could attain.
@@linkinemerson8620 Yeah, in most editions of D&D, a character can only go up to 20th level. Although, in some editions there is "epic level" play in which the level cap increases to 30
Thank you very much. It will be a short one but I will be finally putting out another one. I would like to get more content out regular, but I work a ton & then life... like I just got home from work & my dog escaped so a neighbor had to watch him lol:P
You would pick it up pretty fast. They did a battle update not that long ago & a few menu features were moved around from what I know, but with a few days of play you will get all the basics you need:P
Hi there, I’ve been away from NW for quite a while and just wanted to ask a quick question, if you find the time to answer I’d really appreciate it. When I hear a new “mod” is out does that mean I have to download something else besides what the game downloads during the updates? I know this sounds like a silly question but I don’t know anything about computers (I’m older lol) and I just don’t want to miss out on something as I’ll be returning to the game this week. Thank you.
Thanks for the question:) You won't be missing anything because the game is "live service" meaning the game just adds new content & new gear, new map locations on a regular basis, but as you build your character in the game you can eventually access everyone of those places & find all that treasure/gear.
With MMO style games like this much of the fun is getting to know a good bunch of players, whether its just within the game, or possibly if they have a discord or other things setup. I say that to get to this point. I first got 4 other people to start this about the same time & only 1 played for maybe a month. I really got sucked in as there are so many layers & you can just keep learning how to grow & build up your character. I am still learning things very recently in fact. But by the time I could see my friends sort of losing interest & it not being that game for them I found a guild with a very healthy alliance. There are people online all the time & we all chat, run dungeons, help new players when they have a small question, get stuck in an area, or just have general questions about where to go next. You should get a small quest early on that does a basic job going over searching for a guild, or you can just ask in zone chat. I would say don't just join the first person to message you though, ask what level the guild is (it doesn't need to be max, but it could just be some brand new guild with 1-2 members). There is actually someone who commented on this video with his game & guild name I believe. I would bet they have an active group as well. Sry but I wanted to answer as detailed as I could cuz I really do get a lot of enjoyment from the game. I will be making a little fun promo video for our alliance soon so if you want you can search us up & now saying that at the start I may show how to properly search guild names & stuff lol.
Right it just changed so I will need to make a couple updated videos. I work a lot, but I do wanna get to making vids on a more steady schedule. There are some interesting things about the new mod & some recent events. For 3million AD you can buy a mythic mount at the Wonderous bazaar which is insane honestly. So normal players can get an account wide max rank mount for all their characters so I may make a quick vid on that as well.
I cant start cloak tower dungeon, it says i need 5 players and i start queueing, but nothing happens... I dont know what to do, i loved the game but if i cant make dungeons i will have to unninstall the game.
No worries. if on PC I think you started the que correctly but I will just step by step it in case. The shortcut key is "K" on your keyboard to open the que menu. From there you have to find specifically the Cloak Tower option & check the box, then press the bottom button to que up. At times it can take a good while to start, even as much as about 1 hour if you are dps & there could be a wait to go through it. I noticed a longer than usual wait for that que when I started with my DPS Barbarian, but for some reason once you get past it the random ques go faster. I think its just the fact that you are queing only for that 1 specific dungeon so you have to wait for a team to join it. I would help ya & tank it if I could:P
@@MrAlchaar Np, I know it can be confusing as they don't really tell you that info & I was also confused on how to que as with many things early on, but once you get it its easy. I just had a que tonight that took me a while a bit later on called Grey Wolf even as a tank. But the good news is that once you que up, you can just go about your quests as normal the entire time, you don't even need to be on that specific map as long as you have the quest in your quest journal & its telling you that you need Cloak Tower, you can que up anywhere & while you wait you can just do quests anywhere, it will automatically give you a notice right on your screen with a bell sound so you can't miss it, then you just accept it, do the dungeon, & once you are done it places you right back where you were. & for Cloak Tower I forgot to say there is a little shortcut. You can actually que solo for it, then abort the quest & if thats still in place which it was very recently it will complete the quest, so for now that could be a fast way to finish the quest & move on, but what they are attempting to do is start getting players familiarized with queing for dungeons & such as later on for end-game content its very common stuff eventually:P Sorry for the extra rant, but I hope it helps. I work a ton, but eventually I would like to have much more small helpful vids sharing little info like this so I can just link short vids for questions lol.
Thank you for the shout out! I'm still playing, but had some things going on, & just a couple days ago upgraded the space in my PC. Now I may be able to capture a bit more footage & make a few more vids & get back to it:P
The left side is for your shield, it indicates how much stamina you have left before your shield drops. The right side that other curved vertical bar is for a Paladins dvinity. You will see that some of a Paladins moves will cost 200-300 divinity cost, & like the stamina bar it has to regen so you cant keep spamming strong moves cuz you can run out of divinity until you get some back. There are other little Feats & abilities that can give you a bit more stam or div a bit quicker so it all depends on how you play your toon:P I hope that is what you meant, if not lemme know.
hi, new to the franchise , I tried creating on account , so I press play on steam , and the account tab pops up, and I try to register to arc but the whole system is down so how do you guys logging in ???
hey, I just got back from a big vaca so Im catching up on things. I will be making sure everything is up. At times they do small maintenance things so you may have just been unlucky trying to make an account & login during that time. I will comment back again after testing later once I catch up with stuff, but it sounds like you pretty much did all the right steps.
I'm glad it helped get you started out. Im trying to get a bit regular work schedule right now so I can get a few more vids out more regular, but you know how life is:P
All quests from Sgt Knox are apart of the main storyline. Anytime you see npc characters with a question mark "?" over their head in that yellow box, that means it is not needed to complete that map or zone & is a side quest that branches off. If you see "!" in that yellow box then its needed to complete that map so that you can turn it into Sgt Knox at the end. Just like Blacklake the first new area you get access to as a new player once you complete that area you turn in the quest to Sgt Knox & he offers you some new quests. That said finishing each main area I would suggest as some (like the Blacklake District early on) gives you a free inventory bag which will come in handy. Once you start finding more items some things you will want to hold onto or keep to refine & upgrade so your bag space fills up fast & having those extra bags is great. I hope this helps a bit.
Ah nice, I almost went Ranger with my first toon also. Their battle style looks like one of the best, but all can be fun:P In the description I think I mention it, but after making this I realized that strength on a pala is useless so I remade right after lol. Paladins use "radiant" energy & strength doesn't affect that & for getting max level I went all points into Constitution & Charisma for a Pala tank main. Healer side I still need to test as I'm still learning myself!
The Paladin uses "radiant" energy so yea strength was not the correct choice. I did change it afterwards & updated my description here, but the video actually took about 55 hours to get the right recording, the right notes to speak over & edit etc so I couldn't get that recording.:P
For pvp I honestly have not gotten into that yet myself. In my "how to Queue" video around the middle of the video I do explain how to earn astral diamonds & how the queue system works. AD is the most important & used currency for buying or selling items you find on the auction house, but I have a brief overview of that in the queue video too. & for Zen its bought with real money & you can buy certain items that are very rare or at times you can only get that specific mount or something from the zen store. For you just starting out however my opinion is just focus on getting to level 80 for now as you learn a bit more about what gear & stuff to look for. & finding a good guild with a healthy alliance is a really great resource. Ours for example there is always numerous people on & we all help answer questions, or if someone gets stuck in an area or can't kill a small boss etc. But try saving any AD you get for now as there is no need to buy anything at all before level 80. I explain more why in the queue vid but yea its just not worth it:P
@@Sisyphus1233 Thank you. I am working on a music video atm on my off day heh. But I will be for sure getting a few more Neverwinter vids out, I have a pretty good list of topics I want to cover, especially the essential stuff:)
Hey my friend. They have updated the leveling system & item levels, as well as certain items you get for progressing since this video first came out. As long as you use your mount & go through the normal progress it should be simpler from my understanding to get to max level (which is now level 20, NOT 80). You essentially still get the same power & item level, but they just group the levels into less now. I have not gone through the starting campaigns in a while though so I cant say what issue you may be seeing exactly. Sorry wish I could know for certain:(
Does anyone know how to get rid of the "buy this crap" now ui box that's above quest tracker on Xbox? The mobile game feel it gives every single time I see it really distract me from the game. Reminds me of the I0I plan to sell 80% of your screen for advertisements in "Ready Player One"... Getting rid of this would be greatly appreciated.
I am sorry haven't played on Xbox so I'm not aware of the specific UI near the quest tracker. I have not experienced that on PC. For PC there I can move around & adjust most things to change my UI look & feel if I wish. I did a quick search for "neverwinter ui on xbox" but didn't really find anything that looked like it would answer your question, possibly there is a forum or something so my only suggestion is a deeper dive searching something to that affect on the goog. Good luck o/ ... Also, I love the RP1 reference:D I will be making a music video with that film soon!!!
You can reach level 18 within a few hours playing so I'd say start fresh. You can still go warlock if you think you like the attacks & battle style of the warlock, but yea new is the way to go. You won't be losing anything of value on a toon that low level & it will help get you started out on the main questline etc as well rather than trying to remember where you were & such.
@@johnquinn1496 My 1st toon was a barb dps main, but once you get used to tanks or heals I will say its very nice almost insta queueing for dungeons to earn the daily astral diamonds & not having to wait 30min to up to an hour hour at times I could wait on a dps class:P Once you get there you will see, & at lvl 12 you can start queueing for the lowest level dungeon, watch my latest vid "how To Queue" for more on that but its a great way of getting massive xp as well helping you level faster while earning AD!
@@johnquinn1496 For a fighter/tank build yes CON & STR almost always. For Paladin its CON, CHA because strength does not help a pala. & you get 2 free slots for builds so later on you can do a specific different build just for the DPS side of your fighter which is really nice to have & you can use that while doing your quests:)
What level are you? If you aren't level 80 yet I know it sounds sucky, but its best to just use the gear you can buy in each new area as you progress through the quest line with Sgt Knox. Each new map area has a trader that takes the currency for that area & its how I upped my gear starting out new toons. Once you hit level 80 a way you can get an entire pretty good set (which I still use parts of even now) is the Avernes Wastes set which I have a very detailed video on as well, but its only when you hit level 80 & unlock the Avernus zone:P
@@Shawnmfieldsjr I began just December 2020 so it was after the lifesteal. The health potions have a timer on them once you use 1, but I would suggest that route, I can buy plentu of those cuz I use my workshop as a simple gold making tool. I don't have 1 up yet, but there are tutorials on how to make gold in workshop easily at no extra cost to you. Other than that make sure you have the undermountain set Lord Neverember gives you once you reach level 70. You may already have this set its like item level 680ish? Give or take. But a huge boost from the stuff you get beforehand. From there just making lvl 80, then unlocking Avernus to get that 1225 set is my best suggestions for now until they change things around again:P
I would have been so mad if I had paid to level to 80 and now I am 20. And the stuff I use to sell to the seal trader I could sell for potions now there is nothing you can buy you can sell. I think I am done. I think this is EAs way of getting people to buy zen.
Yea I feel ya. There are some pretty good things, & some not so very good things about this latest mod & the other patches/events. I really wanna try getting a video out on my thoughts after really playing through & seeing it all. Like the battling hasn't seemed to change so the formula they used was ok for going from 80 to 20, but my item level & stats are basically identical only my level itself just says 20 now. I also wanna do a full workshop video that shows how to make gold easily & how to afford enough for potions, injury kits, etc. I saved enough gold that I sometimes buy extra stacks of max potions & sell them on the auction house for extra AD. materials in the workshop also can be sold in the auction house. The prices go up & down, but its still a good way of making a bit extra here & there. But it is extra work as well so it depends on what people have time for. I've basically frozen all progress on my Paladin & he still only has 7 boons lol. There are a ton so 7 is tiny if you haven't gotten into boons much yet:P
Near the backend of this video I show how to get your first mount. Sgt Knox gives you a "mount token" which you can then take to the mount dealers & exchange it for 1 free horse. You can buy the other 1 with 5 gold, but generally its not needed unless you just want both.
Depending what race/class you pick you have certain abilities. Barbarian has a built in sprint option if that is something you value more. Once you get the mount its not so bad.
I was at 419 sorta waiting. Part of me thought a short meme vid would be funny, but meh its not exactly my type of vid:P Thank you for the sub, cheers!
I would have expected something broader like "don't make the mistake of focusing on X on lower levels, do Y instead". "What are those Astral diamonds? What about that prayer thing? How to best approach crafting? Nevermind! I found out I can adjust music volume in the options, yay!"
It was a beginner day one guide;) I will be trying to now release smaller form videos focusing on very specific things so all valid questions. Its just a matter of having the time for each topic. Like I will cover how all currencies work (including astral diamonds too) in a video. I will cover how the workshop functions in its own video, auction house, where to find inventory bags, etc. I do really appreciate the input though it motivates me to get those videos out:)
My first video on starting out was actually 44 minutes long & it did go more into detail on specific things, but a good number of people thought the video was way too long & sorta got lost in the weeds & most seemed to be asking on just explaining the mechanics, how to navigate the map, how to use the quest journal & know where to go, how to get their first mount. I tried covering all I could while keeping the first video as short as possible as that vid was averaging about 100 views daily & most people who seemed to be watching it were legit day one players & were getting a bit lost with too much explanation on certain things so for this vid it was all about the basics. I had to work some overtime, but I will try getting a shorter vid out on a specific topic possibly tomorrow:)
You just need to go back to Sgt Knox in protector's Enclave to get more quests, & from their the first main place he should send you in the one of the many large wooden gates & go to the Blacklake District & keep following that glowing trail for more quests:)
This newest mod 21 surprisingly gives way more to new players than before. & for people with characters above those levels you can claim those rewards & use or at least sell or trade them etc. I'd say its way more helpful now to new players. The biggest thing is offers for sale now is these auto-complete packs where it will basically complete an area & give you whatever rewards for that area, but they hover around $40-50 per & most really aren't that bad to just do in your own time, & none of the items or gear any of those places give offer best gear. All of that is untradeable & unbuyable, usually has been which means every player walking around near max item level had to grind dungeons & loot that gear by playing like everyone else. Now you could "fast-track" that by at least just buying the highest gear you can so you are pretty high then grind the final stuff, but at that point now you have next to no real experience & any player like that will never get through an end-game dungeon:P Those are very very heavy on knowing exactly what powers to run, where to be at the right time & just knowing the dungeon mechanics. Sry to ramble on. I meant to make a video breaking this down a lot more but just got busy with some things. Imo its not pay to win, but its pay for convenience like if you just hate a certain area & you buy that campaign out to just get it to complete.
After I made this they made changes so the max level was no longer 80, it was 20, so essentially we are the same power & item level, but it takes more xp for you to gain a level since there are only 20 now:P
@@Seba26- yep, the stats stayed the same, but they essentially merged 4 levels of experience points into 1 level. So you need the same xp & get roughly the same item level & attributes, but the character level itself is 20 now.
There’s another chest under the bridge near Celeste. As well as before you cross the bridge in the next area (on the far wall where the fireball drops on the enemies)

Great Video, you should do a beginner series since the information on this game seems unlimited 👍
@@linkinemerson8620 I can see the struggle here haha but it doesn’t even have to be too detailed.

I'm installing it right now. I'll have a look into your guide. Much appreciated!
Thanks for the comment. I hope it helps you get started out. A lot of easy tricks that just help out early a ton:P Especially the teleportation stone:D
Good video! Very informative and helpful. Didnt know you can make your own bio. Learning many different things than when i first played. Keep up the hard work ^^
Awesome, yea having fun with the bio's can just add to the experience:P
Just got it for free on on PS network played a little and enjoy it still watching your video hopefully i can learn a thing or 2, thanks for the info though great vid so far.
Awesome, yea I tried my best to make it so people on console could also at least understand reading the maps, & journal etc, but you guys have menu dropdowns:P
I started playing a week ago and guides like yours are helping a lot!
@@linkinemerson8620 cool, I’ll check those out. Thanks for telling me about this!
i started playing yesterday
its been so long since i heard neverwinter game sound because i listen to music while playing hehe btw nice tutorial for new players
@@linkinemerson8620 Nice
Great video! very informative. Thanks for posting this.
Thank you for dropping a comment:P
I'm going to be playing on Xbox, but i think this information will carry over! I'm excited for the game and i hope to see more videos in the future!
Thanks! I just got back from a big vaca otherwise I would have commented sooner:D Yep, other than the drop-down menus the console versions have all the same content so you aren't missing anything really:P
My favorite is the tifling paladin i always role play as a kind man who fightd his dark nature and is devoted to his god through sacrifice.
@@linkinemerson8620 im a big fan of either drow or half orc on my ranger love the debuff and dps.
Thank you l just started half orc barbarian, really like the game
That is a great class for barb hoenstly, cuz you can eventually work on maxing out that extra critical strike & crit severity:P
Chest behind tent in starting area. Five in total in tutoral area.
Dang it I missed a few I guess:P Thanks for the note o/
Seems quite a fun game! I started playing this week and so far has been pretty good. Considering that I lost most interest on any mmorpg, this one has doing quite well for me.
I just need adjust some time to play it. Didn't watched the whole video, but I will. It's sleep time, haha, good night!
I too really need to get to bed & will right after this comment:D Hopefully you get a couple good tips from this vid!
Started just today pretty straightforward for now but still i wanted a little bit of tips & extra info :D
You picked a great time to start. They recently did a new mod 21 & as a new player you get rewarded a lot more than before which helps your progression & learning the extra items & such:)
I remember starting Neverwinter and then stopped came back and my brain gets fried lol
lol. Yea they love changing the core mechanics it feels like very often :P
I play on Xbox and I accidentally sold my horse. It wasn’t letting me equip him or anything, do you know what I should do ?
Things have slightly changed since their latest updates but many of the mechanics are the same. You can go to the same area where they give you a mount & buy 1 for 1 gold I believe. I also think you earn 2 mount requisition coins, but I can't recall where the 2nd one is given. But those starter mounts I think are just 1 gold which you should have now from the quest rewards.
@@linkinemerson8620 oh ok, thank you so much! Amazing video tho, I definitely learned a lot :))
What changed in the last few months? You were given level 5 for beating the tutorial. I had to play for hours and beat multiple bosses to get level 5
Although, in some editions there is "epic level" play in which the level cap increases to 30
I found the video interesting and informative
Thank you very much! I am finally putting out a short vid by tonight. Just gonna show how to queue in detail as a few folks have asked about it:P
Thank you for the info , you just gained a new sub
Thank you very much. It will be a short one but I will be finally putting out another one. I would like to get more content out regular, but I work a ton & then life... like I just got home from work & my dog escaped so a neighbor had to watch him lol:P
ive been playing for like 2 years and i didnt even know half of this stuff lol
Aw thank you! That really makes me feel good knowing that even someone with a good amount of time in the game just might see a trick or 2:)
just picked this up i get random mmo cravings randomly lolok
Aye I think we all gotta jump on something new, or something old school now & then:P
I used to play this game like 5 years ago and I wanna pick it up now but I forgot how everything even works 😭😭
How do I play as a solo none of my friends play mmo or rpgs and i keep on dying
The max lvl on pc now is 20, thats crazy... but the game still good anyways, i wish that it could go up to 80 as before
Right it just changed so I will need to make a couple updated videos.
@@linkinemerson8620 i will try again later. Thx for the answer.

When I got to a certain level on my paladin a bar came up on the right opposite of the shield indicator on the hub I can't figure out what that is.
@@linkinemerson8620 that is exactly what I meant

how to tell whether a quest is main quest or side quest?
Just started the game going with ranger.. But looking at guides for my second character since I'm just experimenting with the first one😅
@@linkinemerson8620 yeah I like the versatility of ranger being ranged and melee.. Might go for a tank or healer next
Paladin damage is magical I thought? Based off intelligence
The Paladin uses "radiant" energy so yea strength was not the correct choice. I did change it afterwards & updated my description here, but the video actually took about 55 hours to get the right recording, the right notes to speak over & edit etc so I couldn't get that recording.:P
@@linkinemerson8620 oooh gotcha, cool
I started playing this game yesterday and i cant figure out pvp astral diamonds zen etc can you tell me what to do, Nice guide btw

When I started I didn’t get a new weapon and I got a free wolf from the shop please help
Good luck o/

Ive came back to the game after a couple years. Had a lvl 18 warlock. Should i start new or continue. Ive forgotten everything
@@linkinemerson8620 yeah i decided to start over but try a tank. Usually i play dps but tanks are always needed
@@linkinemerson8620 for tanks do you want level CON mainly? And im a figter i think
Im a old player tryna comeback its hard because they tookaway lifesteal and i need new gear
@@linkinemerson8620 im level 70 i quit when mod 16 launched
@@linkinemerson8620 im trying to return witho8 lifesteal i have a hard time staying alive with adds
How do u open it on x box
I did try it on xbox but it was maybe 2 years ago so I cant be much help. I only remember installing the game & it launched.
I have found a chest from the very beginning
Yeah, there are a lot more chests that others mentioned. I should get around to doing a little short showing every start chest:P
How can I get gold how can I buy a horse?
Near the backend of this video I show how to get your first mount. Sgt Knox gives you a "mount token" which you can then take to the mount dealers & exchange it for 1 free horse. You can buy the other 1 with 5 gold, but generally its not needed unless you just want both.
How do u sprint bruh
Depending what race/class you pick you have certain abilities. Barbarian has a built in sprint option if that is something you value more. Once you get the mount its not so bad.
you have 420 subs i dont wanna sub but i will hahah
I was at 419 sorta waiting. Part of me thought a short meme vid would be funny, but meh its not exactly my type of vid:P Thank you for the sub, cheers!
I’m leaving a comment somewhere if you’ll see this
1 minute ago is what it shows;)
I would have expected something broader like "don't make the mistake of focusing on X on lower levels, do Y instead".
I’m stuck at level 5
You just need to go back to Sgt Knox in protector's Enclave to get more quests, & from their the first main place he should send you in the one of the many large wooden gates & go to the Blacklake District & keep following that glowing trail for more quests:)
Is the game still as pay to win as before?
Why am i lvl 1 and u lvl 5 and did tutorial as well💀😭🤣
After I made this they made changes so the max level was no longer 80, it was 20, so essentially we are the same power & item level, but it takes more xp for you to gain a level since there are only 20 now:P
@@linkinemerson8620 wait what theres only 20 now?
@@Seba26- yep, the stats stayed the same, but they essentially merged 4 levels of experience points into 1 level. So you need the same xp & get roughly the same item level & attributes, but the character level itself is 20 now.
