Just came across your channel today! Praying for you and your family throughout all this! I'm due March 7th and at our 20 week appointment they told us they saw a spot on the babies heart. We go to our specialist in a week and we've been praying that when we get there they don't see anything! Pregnancy is honestly so scary because you have no idea what's going on in there between appointments!

Y’all are a beautiful couple with a beautiful faith ♥️ I was born with SB 26 years ago (L5 lesion). I’ve often wondered what my life would be like if fetal surgery had been an option at that time. But it doesn’t take away the fact that this is the story God wrote for my life and He is using my weaknesses for His glory-though I haven’t always been aware of it. I am so blessed to have the function I do have; yea I have my fair share of physical issues, but there’s so much I CAN do, and I’m learning (emphasis on “ing”-it’s a continual process!) to seek and trust the Lord for how I can use my “cans” to build His kingdom. I don’t even know you, but don’t hesitate to reach out/respond because I am more than happy to share my story and my perspective living with SB! Keep leaning into Jesus, His grace is sufficient and His power is made evident in our weaknesses

I hope this reaches you; my best friend had SB. She lived a full, productive life and taught me what it was like to truly live. She had one child and worked, both at being a homemaker and out in the work force. She was bound to a wheelchair as she aged, but as a child she had crutches. Things medically have come so far since her birth in the 50’s; so many advances in medicine for your son to be helped. I am an older woman and so my friend has passed but I know what she would say to you both. Love one another and live life to the fullest, she loved life and she lived her life with joy and she was my inspiration. May Christ sustain you and your family.

Sometimes we forget about the dads what they are going thru too and Craig shows his love to you in everything he does. I LOVE your vlogs I have watched them all. I just found a your guys' videos and all I can say is that I'm happy your wife and baby are doing well post op! I was born with spina bifida with the odds stacked against me while I was in my moms womb. "she will never walk, she will be delayed, won't have a great quality of life, best to abort." etc. Well, I came out kicking and screaming, with a very thin layer covering my spinal sac. I have had 25 surgeries by age 22 but my life has never been any less than someone who is quote on quote normal. I've cheered, danced, played soccer, softball, anything and everything. Although I know you guys may be scared I just hope my little glimpse of my story helps you in any way. Your son will do amazing even if he does need a surgery or 25 - but as someone who was once told id never be normal in any aspect and now am in nursing school at SJSU with a 4.2 GPA - there is hope in any situation. All my thoughts are with mom and baby.

Oh my goodness Mama, watching you in pain like that, you are one strong Mama! What you have been through is both terrifying and medically amazing! Praying that your little guy will stay put in your womb and have three months of healing and growing inside his Mama! I spent 6 weeks of my last pregnancy in bed rest in my local maternity hospital- I had severe SPD/ PGP (basically I was in agony with my pelvis) and my baby girl kept trying to come early, I went into labour every time I mobilised, so was on strict bed rest to keep my baby in my womb until we reached term. Praise God, my little girl arrived at 37 weeks and I am so grateful that she needed no time in the nicu! I am praying that your little guy stays put! Are you on strict bed rest for the next 3 months? Will you have daily traces to make sure your little guy is doing ok?
Is there anything specific you want us to pray for? (e.g swelling, blood pressure, contractions, placenta, obviously I am praying for full healing of your baby boy’s spine, but I know there will be symptoms that might lead your doctors to want you in hospital rather than in an apartment, temperature, infection, wound healing etc.)

As much as you are going through all physical and mental pain, he's right there with you, it must hurt him so much knowing he can't help you when you're in pain, I'm sure if he had a choice he would switch places with you so you don't have to go through any pain❤️
