So, I just checked your Instagram page and I read that you don't take orders and that means I can't purchase one of your brilliant Dovetail Plane. This reminds me of a book I read. The man in the book was in love with a women he knew he could never have. LOL
Amazing job! Thank you for sharing this beautiful work! Reminds me how all products where made; to last a lifetime and if broke; you could repair it. Still the way to go in my opinion. Best, Job
OMG! stunned, I am stunned. Beautiful works of art. Oven tempering, hand torch heat treat. I have a hard time starting a cut like that, now I see how it should be done, thanks for making that so clear!

Awesome and amazed at your workmanship I just started collecting planes as I love to do woodworking the old way no power tools, look forward to seeing other videos on your woodworking journey
Stavros... I was waiting (impatiently) for this third video! Checking your channel every day! It was worth the wait! Brilliant jigs, techniques, and camera-work! Thank you... Masterpieces from the MASTER plane and tool smith...
i just sat with my mouth open for 26:23 i loved every second, those my friend are beautiful planes add to that 5 finger snaps and you've made my night If i hadnt just bought myself a Bill Carter mitre plane i'd be all over this 1 million % awesome thank you
Brilliant, as always, Stavros! Your craftsmanship never ceases to amaze. Thank you for continuing to share your work with us. Please let us know where we can get a pair of those magic, snapping fingers. lol:-)
As always, beautiful work Stavros. That was a mammoth undertaking and fascinating to watch it unfold. Well worth waiting for. What are you planning next then? 😁
The level of precision you use is incredible. Hopefully one day I will be able to catch one of you're planes for sale. I really enjoy your work. And plan on Joining. I was going to this evening but couldn't remember my Google password. So I gotta wait 6 hrs for them to send me a email. 😤
It's a shame that you don't market your planes. Your craftsmanship is far beyond those that are made commercially by so called "professionals". If you were to ever market your planes, I know I'd be buying them. I wouldn't know where to begin if I ever wanted to make a plane. This is awesome. Great video as always, cheers :)
Stavros, What is your favorite wood that you use for your planemaking? What species type is most compatible to be used for a wood plane? It seems like you use a lot of beech and maple... You must have access to a lot of clear, straight-grained stock! I enjoy watching you work...
Really nice planes, but dont they need an adjustable fence to make precise sliding dovetails? I can imagine that it must be very hard to control the depth
hello Stavros. I would also like to make some small planes myself and would like to ask you where I can order the small clamp holders as blanks? if you would tell me that I would be grateful to you. greetings Rolf
Nice job! It seems, your've finished too hard, too long and too useful project. My congratulations!. Is it your own design? (I mean two blades- or first vertical blade)?
Stavros, from where do you have those metal blanks (for spurs/scratchers and blades)? Some good source, or if it's your own? Could you please give some specs of that steel, u used?
Stavros I am in the middle of my siding dovetail plane (based off your design) and I had a quick question. What is the primary bevel ground too? I was guessing 30deg but I wanted to check with you first
Helo stavrosie, mam pytanie odnośnie materiału ,którego używasz do budowy strugów. Chciałem zapytać w jaki sposób suszysz drewno, przygotowujesz do późniejszej obróbki. Wszystkiego dobrego.
Cześć Stavros, mógłbyś skrótowo opisać swój sposób na hartowanie? Jaki to olej?
Pozdrowienia!
hello Stavros I wanted to remind myself again. you wanted to send me something. can you give me two instructions? I want to make a bevel and groove planer? With best Regards Rolf

Excellent video. I like how you use mostly hand tools to create hand tools. It seems like that's how it should be.
Those turned out very nicely. Thanks for showing us.
Congrats man. Your planes will last several hundreds years. Thats something to be proud.
Thank you Alfonso :)
Brilliant jigs. My next project will be a jig for flattening plane blades. Thank you very much for ideas!

Missed this guy............................... alot
Hey, it was long time project :)
Now we need a plane to create the sliding dovetail slot these dovetails fit into-for example on the carcas side of a case.
My friend, you are truly an Artist.
This is what I had always hoped the internet could be
You're not alone :)
Wow, eine absolut beeindruckende Arbeit. Großartige handwerkliche Leistung👍
Thanks
These are amazing Sir!!!

Beautiful work!!! I'd put these planes in a glass box and never use them... well, not sure about the latter, but they are wonderful!

Next I'd like to see a pair of snipes bill..😁
Thanks! That would be a nice project :)
Love this channel, and I would sell my soul to take a plane making class from you!
Hey Michael, give me 3-4 years, i'm preparing big place for it :)
Perhaps a book too.
Really nice planes, but dont they need an adjustable fence to make precise sliding dovetails? I can imagine that it must be very hard to control the depth
That is kind of plane without the fence, you can use it on the middle of the board. The depth control is easy - you should know when to stop.
Beautiful work.
Всё как всегда на самом высоком уровне!
Beautiful! Absolutely beautiful!
Complimenti, ottimo lavoro!
Hi, beautifull work here on your channel, you really are a master.
I wonder wich bandsaw you are using ?
Hey, thanks. It is Record Power bs250 🤟
hello Stavros. I would also like to make some small planes myself and would like to ask you where I can order the small clamp holders as blanks? if you would tell me that I would be grateful to you. greetings Rolf
Patent na piec do hartowania świetny. Czy to jakaś zwykły bloczek typu suporeks?
Dzięki, zwykły suporeks z wywierconymi otworami :)
Outstanding work
Those are beautiful
Thank you Patrick!
long awaited and stunning
Thanks Stan!
Małe dzieła sztuki!
Good to see you back again Stavros, I was just wondering if you sell any of your plane's, they are Amazing 👏
Thanks Roy!
Nice job!
It seems, your've finished too hard, too long and too useful project. My congratulations!.
Is it your own design? (I mean two blades- or first vertical blade)?
Thank you, it is classic design :)
Verry goooood Job🥰👍🏻
Stavros, from where do you have those metal blanks (for spurs/scratchers and blades)? Some good source, or if it's your own? Could you please give some specs of that steel, u used?
Hey, it was NCV1 steel, i bought it by net. Raw shape of the plane irons was cutted by my friend on the laser CNC. Regards
Stavros
I am in the middle of my siding dovetail plane (based off your design) and I had a quick question.
What is the primary bevel ground too? I was guessing 30deg but I wanted to check with you first
Hey, 25 deg 👍
Do you have plan's or schematic's i could buy? Where did you learn how to make these beautiful tools?
Hey, please write to me on Instagram, i can send you my drawings. I'm still learning, on my workshop ofcourse :)
Helo stavrosie, mam pytanie odnośnie materiału ,którego używasz do budowy strugów. Chciałem zapytać w jaki sposób suszysz drewno, przygotowujesz do późniejszej obróbki.
Wszystkiego dobrego.
Witaj, suszenie przebiega w standardowy sposób, większe znaczenie ma rozcięcie/rozłupane materiału w odpowiedni sposób przed suszeniem. Pozdrawiam
Piękna robota, dzięki za wkład :)
Dzięki Adam :)
Beautiful!
8:03 - Now, that's just showing off :-)
You got me 🤭
