    Szanowny Panie, Pańskie filmiki są kojącą ucieczką od rzeczywistości, rozbudzającą dziecięce wręcz zainteresowanie i przyjemność z czegoś tak prostego jak patrzenie na kogoś, kto robi coś w sposób imponujący, wywołując to magiczne "och, chciałbym też tak". Wyrazy uznania. Dla całokształtu.

    So, I just checked your Instagram page and I read that you don't take orders and that means I can't purchase one of your brilliant Dovetail Plane. This reminds me of a book I read. The man in the book was in love with a women he knew he could never have. LOL

    Stavros, What is your favorite wood that you use for your planemaking? What species type is most compatible to be used for a wood plane? It seems like you use a lot of beech and maple... You must have access to a lot of clear, straight-grained stock! I enjoy watching you work...

    Really nice planes, but dont they need an adjustable fence to make precise sliding dovetails? I can imagine that it must be very hard to control the depth

    • @StavrosGakos
      @StavrosGakos  Год назад

      That is kind of plane without the fence, you can use it on the middle of the board. The depth control is easy - you should know when to stop.

    Cześć Stavros, mógłbyś skrótowo opisać swój sposób na hartowanie? Jaki to olej? Na ile do piekarnika? I mówisz, że twardość, jaką się w ten sposób osiąga, jest wystarczająca? Dzięki 🙂

    • @StavrosGakos
      @StavrosGakos  3 года назад

      Hej, grzeję do jasnego czerwonego, hartuję w oleju rzepakowym podgrzanym do kilkudziesieciu stopni (przy hartowaniu większej liczby noży robię to na raty, żeby nie hartować w zbyt gorącym oleju). Później do piekarnika, zazwyczaj 120 minut w 200stopniach, to standardowe parametry dla większości stali. Twardość jest wystarczająca do pracy. Pozdrowienia!
