Even without a 5-card major, we still might find a major fit if we have a 4-card major and know how to ask if partner also has one. In this video, Marla teaches us about Stayman, responding to Stayman, and next steps.

We play 8 points for stayman. Good video Marla but what do you do if responder has 5 cards in major after stayman?

If Opener doesn’t bid your major, then NT is the landing spot. Isn’t that what Marla said?

I also thought it was 8 hcp to bid Stayman

I thought you had to have 8 high card points to use stayman

      I learned 8-9 myself so I don’t think it’s critical.
