Thanks Curt and Bajir. Good grief that control bidding is so complicated! The bidding system I've been taught that distinguishes between first and second round controls has me in knots. So much opportunity to mess it up!
There is an Ottawa convention useful here: 2D means I have at least one ace, one king, or two queens, and 2H means I don't have any of those. Opener then bids 2NT and that allows you to use Stayman or transfer to describe your hand.
4H would probably end the auction early. Responder would be telling opener that she has hearts support, but no extras, and game is likely the best place. Here responder has slam-going values!
Nonsense bidding again. U bid 2C when u have only 3C, u bid 2D when u have only 2D, etc. And then u n partner bid every suits, no technique anyhow suicidal bidding. And finally u didnt show how u claim 13 tricks, your video title says count tricks but u didnt show us how you count them at all! Waste of time watching!

I wonder whether precision club is better to solve this communication problem.
please -always have S at the bottom of the page. Interesting as always. Tx
That’s the convention I know.

Hand 1 We play 2D showing a weak response? I would have responded 3 clubs.
So awesome. Thank you Bair, thank you Kurt
Great Hand thank you, Shabu
2C = 23+ so p has 11 so opener must have aC and top 4 hearts (14hcp) - where is the rest ? Diamond honours or spades leading to 0314 12:16
Why so many , if an or buts?
7H does look good, what about Ace asking
bid again
Who knew Jimmy Kimmel was so good at bridge?
A diamonds
7H here
Amazing hand!
Transportation can screw you!! I would never bid 7NT on this hand!!
Further on Ottawa: opener only bids 2NT in response to 2D. In response to 2H, opener picks the best contract she thinks she can make on her own.
3D
Why not respond with 4 hearts
