As a basketball fan it Kind of sucks we didn’t get to see dame and Giannis in the playoffs
Definitely not the Bucks
Giannis has a serious calf injury that could result in an achilles tear
Dame has an achilles injury too
Middleton reinjured his ankle
it's not like they're the Suns trio fully healthy and couldn't win a single game
76ers would be more disappointing considering they're going up against a Knick team that semi rebuilt their team mid season and are missing a key player in Julius Randle
Bucks would be more disappointing for me since they had became a champion in recent years but they got unlucky this year with so many injuries, 76ers have been consistently disappointing every year so I expect that from them.
They only got that lucky championship while everyone was hurt.

Bucks will be better next year, they didn’t build this team for Dame. They will add more and make some moves. Hopefully everybody’s healthy. Griffin wasn’t a good coach, Doc actually helped the bucks D. The pacers would not be winning this series if Giannis was playing.

I think if the Bucks known earlier that they were getting Dame, they would've kept Bud & given him a chance to run it with Dame for a season before firing him depending on the results. Hiring a rookie coach like Adrian Griffin was not the move, that's the kind of move you make if you intend on having a scapegoat like the Cavs with David Blatt & Lakers with Darvin Ham. I feel like once they fired Griffin, Terry Stotts was supposed to take over, but Griffin had already ran Stotts out of town before the season even started. Griffin was power trippin, wasn't willing to listen to anyone, & I think that resulted in the players not liking/respecting him, so they had to get rid of him. As SAS pointed out, the Bucks defense was atrocious under Griffin. And if you actually watched games, it was not the coaching that led them to that 30-13 record, it was the talent, Giannis just willing them to a victory or Dame being the hero. I mean with Giannis & Dame, you're bound to win games, that's a given. Similar to the Suns, lots of talent, but not coached well. When a team is not coached well, it basically just becomes pickup basketball, that's what it reminds me of.
Hard to blame Doc on this one too. What coach has come in mid-season to try & fix a team? All the other coaches that have taken over mid-season, they were already a part of the coaching staff. I don't think I've ever seen a coach from outside take over mid-season. If no injuries, I'm sure the Bucks will be better next season once they have a full training camp with Doc.
You said everything ! Everybody talk about Griffin’s record. Nobody says that we got one of the easiest schedule before all star break.
@@wunderkid8749and the hardest after doc came on. What really bothered me where the last couple of games. With losses against low tier teams even with Giannis (no lillard but still) told me we weren’t going to get deep in the playoffs.

Add the fact they had Embiid every game regardless of injury while Giannis didn’t even step on the court and Dame is gone there is a higher expectation for sixers to perform and they didn’t ergo more disappointing
@@SPACEKNOCKERZ76 The 76ers were actually the favorites if you saw the betting odds prior to the start of the series. Hurt or not, Embiid's been ballin. 35ppg, 5ast, 9reb. They have two allstars versus one in Brunson. They definitely should be the favorites, but have been disappointing.
Actually missing RoCo who’a a premier 3 and d player and Melton is banged up also who’s a solid two way player and was a starter. Still no excuse. Sixers had chances

The issue is the refs gave all the calls to the sixers and embiid in game 3 to wash out game 2 "favorable" knicks calls. Embiid had 19 points solely from the free throw line.

I remember Paul Reed said they wanted the Knicks because it’s an easier matchup than Boston . Milwaukee & it’s not even close.. Philly was rollin when Embiid was healthy & you see how they are when he’s injured whereas Milwaukee was disappointing all season regardless of Giannis & Dame being in or out of the lineup

Disappointing in terms of overall expectations from the start of the season I'd say the Bucks. All the fans were highly anticipating the duo of giannis and dame but couldnt see it come to fruition in the playoffs due to injury.
Disappointing in terms of results definitely 76ers. They are basically full strength and still getting gentlemen swept by a knicks team without arguably their best/2nd best player

Sixers may be more disappointing since they have their main guys playing and Knicks are sans randle. But if the question was changed to which franchise is in worse shape I’d say bucks cuz dame is fading fast and their coach is a mess. At least sixers can reset themselves to a degree with their cap space and nurse is at least stable from a coach standpoint
The answer is Milwaukee you got 2 dynamic duo such as giannis and dame and everyone pick them to win a championship and to let go adrian griffin as a rookie coach has the best record and to get doc rivers who is and overrated coach that has 1 championship resume that has the big 3 on rondo, Garnett and pierce and ever since then not even reach at the finals so to me this is the biggest failure on basketball history
There’s nothing disappointing about the Sixers this year. No one expected them to do anything this year anything. The supporting cast is a lottery team. If they could’ve played .500 ball while Embiid was out they’d have been the 2 seed by quite a few games. Embiid with half his face paralyzed and clearly hobbling on one leg with a lottery team not making it out of the first round against the 2 seed isn’t anything but expected.
Doc turning the Bucks into a dumpster fire should be more disappointing. He’s allegedly one of the best coaches in history right? According to the 75th anniversary team.

I may be bias since I love the Bucks but Bucks are easily the more disappointing.
We can blame the injuries as much as we want, and they're without a doubt a factor being down 3-1, but to act like Pacers havent had our number all year is crazy. Then they upgraded with Pascal and we downgraded with Doc.
I keep seeing other Buck fans say we wouldve smacked Indy if we had Giannis, and I disagree. Just a sad season.
I actually think they would’ve. Giannis would’ve made that much of a difference. You seen game 1 and 3 how the pacers couldn’t stop their offense. Just imagine what would’ve happened if he played. That’s like saying Jokic wouldn’t make the difference against the lakers

Obviously theyre a better team with Giannis but weirdly I think they match up against the Pacers better without him?
@SweetReed17 the Bucks do pass the ball around more with Giannis not playing but there's no denying Bucks are better with Giannis on the floor. He is their best offensive piece, great rebounder which would have solved game 3, gets the other team in foul trouble usually, and he is quick to help with defense which is killing the older players due to the pace Indiana is playing at. Also, defense is better with him in and he changes the way a team can attack the Bucks. No Giannis is one less person with the ball making it easier to double or trap someone like Dame which they did after he exploded in game 1. I think Bucks win tonight but lose in Indiana. Keep Giannis, Khris, Dame, Bobby, Green and AJax. Rebuild with a better center since Lopez is top slow and drop doesn't work anymore in the NBA and get a better 2 guard who plays defense. Don't need the offense in those two positions as much when you have Giannis, Bobby, Dame and Khris alongside Green and AJax. Need to get younger in 2-3 key positions and they have a chance to do damage with a full camp under Doc.

No one expected the 76ers to be good when Harden was traded. In many ways, they exceeded expectations. The Bucks have been below expectations.

Tin foil hat theory: Giannis faked the injury to save Doc and also himself. Everyone knows Giannis was largely responsible for the firing of Adrian Griffin and hiring Doc. If the Bucks are fully healthy and lose in the first round, both Doc and Giannis' reputations would take a huge hit. With an "injury" Doc's job is now safe and Giannis looks less bad.
The only answer is the sixers. I dont know how you pick the bucks knowing dame, giannis, and middleton are hurt or not even playing. Joel is hurt but hes still available and the rest of the sixers team is healthy with maxey playing great. Knicks lost two players this series and never had juluis and are still giving them work.
