Don't know how you do it, your presentation skills are so natural. I tried doing a video and scrapped it because I was so self conscious and tongue tied! Scary how few vans are around, I've seen on a few forums I follow people are ordering new vans and cars purely to sell on at a profit when they take delivery. I can still get more than I paid for my Defender when I bought it last year. On a separate note have you ever thought of doing a series of interviews with dealers, suppliers, site owners or the 2 big clubs?
Thanks for showing us the two Auto trail vans Bob. It's difficult to justify the price hikes, I guess at the end of the day it's about supply & demand & then what the market will stand? I know there have been issues with certain components from the manufacturers!
The price of everything has gone up, with inflation running at over 4% I know we are, but we shouldn't be surprised at prices of motorhomes, huge demand, supply issues...
Industries world wide are way down on production so expect the lack of materials supply to further inflate manufacturing costs! I like the simple design of the 615 but until Auto Trail up their QC I'll stick with my van.
Prices are mad. However, as the law of supply and demand states, the economic theory explains how supply and demand are related to each other and how that relationship affects the price - no different for Motorhomes. When we bought our Motorhome new, 3.1/2 years ago, we could basically get back what we paid for it. Demand is unprecedented. Be interested to know Bob, that if and when you do decide to buy another van, would you stick with a Coachbuilt, be it same size or smaller ? Or have something different, like a van conversion, or Camper Van ?
I don't know what we'd choose next. We did like borrowing a slightly smaller coachbuilt though. Not sure we'd want to go all the way size wise, down to a Van Conversion.
@@BobEarnshawMoHo Exactly our thoughts too ........... we would strongly consider maybe, a slightly smaller Motorhome, as long as the storage/sleeping arrangements/payload, are not compromised too much . I just find van conversions too narrow - although brilliantly designed in some cases.
Two nice looking vans. Work started on my new van last week, I thought it would be a Fiat but due to supply issues it’s a Citroen. I think it’s the same van with a different front. I went for a Devon conversion and I’m really looking forward to getting it.
Very basic and boring, coachbuild was so depressing inside 😞. I'm definitely sticking with swift plus we've just ordered our new kontiki 884 from 3a's Camarthen before the price rise happy days. X
Hi Bob 👋 thanks for sharing this video update for us nice vans l🤔 👍👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🚌🚌🚌
Thanks Bob! Very informative and interesting.

Yes, good idea, I did do a few livestreams with Jason the Motorhome Man.
Nice vans, if I had the money, I could be tempted😂👍. Great review
Thank you

@@BobEarnshawMoHo Yes it has. The new motorhome we have purchased December 2021 will be £6240 more expensive in January 2022.

As you said a back killer on the fridge door....

Yes very exciting!
Second van better spec but ridiculous fridge, I’ve got broken wrist so no way could open it, plus more sockets needed
I didn't like the 2 hands job on fridge door! Makes it real awkward to open!
On the first van was there a toilet and shower
Yes, but I couldn't get the door open to open. The technicians were looking at it.
Ok Bob thanx.
First van, not impressed with basic layout for price - no blinds & no kitchen prep area due to oversize sink
Very basic and boring, coachbuild was so depressing inside 😞.

That sounds very nice.
I’m sorry bob but I can’t see 51k here..this dealer raising the price by some miles….it is a rebadged autosleeper…43k basic model…
