HOW humans choose to APPLY God's Word to the way they actually live is one thing. But God's Word doesn't change, EVER, no matter how 'culture' shifts. Those who view God's given structure as women being 'less than' are misguided. But women do have a different role than men. One's not 'better' or more important, but different. It's like saying a mother's role in a child's life is 'better' than the father's. No, it isn't. But it is different! Women can use their God given gifts throughout ministry, but pastoring a church isn't one of them. It has nothing to do with capability. God has chosen His design, His structure, and women are not to be in spiritual authority over men. It's clear. It's simple. One may not like what God's design is, but one thing He didn't ask for is our opinion.
The Bible is a polemic against rigid, male dominance of cultures in which Abraham was called. God's word continues to reshape culture and will continue to do so until eden is restored. There is no partiality with God.
