Maybe because he got the kitty? Or maybe because he didn;t get it. If a man switches - he never liked you in the first place. I man never pushes a hot woman, unless she's too clingy, weird, has some psychological issues, but that's exception, so it might be looks, why he's ghosting etc.
I have to believe that there is a level of immaturity here in addition to being emotionally unavailable. And this doesn’t seem to change easily over time. My one friend is this EXACT person. He dates people for 1-2 years then they leave because he won’t commit. He’s 57- never married, never had kids, never even lived with a partner. And his longest relationship with the woman (who was abusive by the way) that he says “was the one that got away” was only 4 years.
Thanks for telling the truth. I'm picky with whom I listen to. And you are so correct how the market is full of these losers and con artists. And it has nothing to do with " he is just not interested in you". I hate that book and the film was nonsense back in 2008.
My question is: Don't they realize their patterns? I told the dude a lot of what you have said here then left, blocked and I am not waiting, moving on. Very frustrating and heartbreaking. 💔
@Saylerk9 They do and then they learn how to do better with the next girl at times. One of the worst men I met was a total POS but it took me awhile to know that. Our last few arguments I made comments about his lack of ambition and how I had wanted to move to a different city. I left him. Later on, guess what he actually got off his butt and moved to the city. He wrote me a letter telling me how I didn’t realize the impact I had on his life and how not to settle for less in life and he wanted me back 😅They’re a bunch of idiots. I mean that’s nice and all but I couldn’t do it he really screwed up the first time around. 😅

I know the guy I am seeing is very genuine because I overheard a conversation he had about me with one of his friends. He thought he put me on hold but he didn’t so I heard everything he said. He really, really, really likes me. BUT...he is way too in his head about me. He has a deep fear about us getting too close. He even avoids having sex with me even though he talks about wanting to have sex with me all the time. Any time I try to make it a reality, he stalls. I tried to keep it much lighter and just hang out for drinks but he stalls again. On our last date, he seemed really shy and I told him that it was ok to be more open with me because I really like him. But nothing I do can matters because he is obviously deathly afraid of falling in love with me. I finally just threw in the towel because I knew he was going to keep stalling our progress. Its been only three days since we last spoke and this is the longest we have ever gone without speaking since we met. Its hurtful but I have to stand my ground because its painful when it feels like he’s rejecting me.

This is true even older men still immature. Single, never married, independent. But his relationship with women does not stay long.
