amazing music. It remainds me the all Arthas story. For me, he was the icon of World of Warcraft. He, Thrall and Ilidan. Now, when Arthas and Idilan is gone, there is no seanse to play WoW anymore. Nothing can replace Arthas and Ilidan.
WotLK was just... wow. I'm not sure I have the words to describe just how immersive, engrossing, and encompassing it was (okay turns out I have three words, at least). So many fond, fond memories from a really special time in my life, made even more so by this game. I remember on launch day waiting impatiently by the front door, ready to snatch it from the postman's hand. Took the day off of college to have a proper sink of my teeth into this. I think I'm too old to feel like that anymore - got a job working 40+ hours a week, a 5-year old boy. I can't invest that kind of time and energy into this anymore. But I come back every now and again just to revisit that home away from home.
Blizz: Is it... over? Player base: At long last. No king rules forever, my son. Blizz: I see... only milking whales of their every last dollar.. before... me...
I dont want to play this game again, but so much memories 💓 6 or 7 years, friends, rivals, sleeples nights in raids, on battlegrounds, arena. I didnt realise it, but I lived in heaven. thanks blizzard.
In a couple more years we'll get Wotlk Classic. It's inevitable and you can bet your behind that I'll be there trying to slurp up as much nostalgia as possible.
Seems like yesterday I was there the minute the servers went live, then I was there at the very end. Silly note my guild only downed the Lich King 45 min before the servers switched over to Cata. Yep we sucked. Good times, doesn't seem as long ago as it is, many fond memories.

Actually, Jason didn't work on Wotlk music as he left the company around that same time and came back during MoP for 5.1. The music here (and also the WotLk soundtrack in general), is by Derek Duke, Glenn Stafford, Russell Brower and David Arkenstone (he did the Argent Tournament music), and Neal Acree who composed Arthas My Son which was inspired by the original melody from WC3 which was by Jason.
These mixes are amazing man , this one literally posted just in time . I started reading the WoW novels with some wow music in the background , considering i just started the Arthas book this cant have better timing :D thanks alot!
At long last, after all these years we get to experience this forgotten world of magic and nostalgia. My favourite part is 1:01:00. This just sets your mind straight back in the days when Homework was just an excuse to hunt some Time-lost proto drake. Long Live The King! #WrathofTheLichKingClassic

I played WOW in Vanilla but did not get to raid in BC or Vanilla as I mainly like the leveling with my friends across the world and experiencing the zones and quests along side rping. But I loved Wrath for so many different reasons. I fully accept that BC provided the best raiding experience for what I believe is the majority. Vanilla wow will always be my favorite but Wrath was the time where I finally capped my character and got to raid with my friends from the very beginning.
Wotlk was the last time WoW felt bigger than our lives and meant something we couldn't even comprehend back then, so nostalgic.
Listening to the Wintergrasp music makes me teary. I got lots of good memories and regrets tied to this game. It's hard to let go.

grizzly hills still has some of the best music of any zone and I love it.

You can relive it. I've found a way. Play on a WotLK or Cata Private server. I get the same goodness as it was back then just with more bugs.
