8:45... dear God. First time I ever walked into Booty Bay, Stranglethorn Vale with my NE Hunter. I remember it like it was yesterday. I really really hope they can recreate a similar feeling for gamers one day. This was a once in a lifetime/generational experience. There will never be another thing like it.
I started playing at Lich and it was great. I bet if i was older and played 2005-6 years I will rather prefer that than Lich. I would of been 5 or 6 years old at that timexD
I will always remember the moment I installed WoW for the first time, taking hours and open the client for the first time, starting with the most epic cinematic @ 1:19:55 and a journey into a world I will never forget

Of late I have been dreaming of Stonetallon Mountains. Boy, did I have a lot of (getting ganked) experience as a noob tauren op a PvP server (Good Old RPPvP server Venture Co), maaaaan I could go on for hours like this. oh, did I mention I got a humble wedding with this Norwegian girl named Aikena there? I took here all places that were aestheticly pleasing. And she always came along. I don't know, until this day, why she would follow me on my crazy RP Journeys. Oh my God, the Barrens music is playing now. A tear to me eye. Yarrrr, as fishin' fer Deviate Fish comes to mind yarrrrr...oh and did I tell about this one time...............................

Wow enchanted forest...so many hours of my life and none were in vain. especially when I hear those songs again. what a great time it was in my life. we can say whatever we want about Wow and blizz right now, but that can never been taken away "We didn't realise we were making memories, we just knew we were having fun." thanks a lot for the Mix buddy,

Just listening through this mix takes me right back to the glory days of my WoW career. Suddenly I am questing around in Elwynn, Dun Morogh, Winterspring and traversing Barrens. Few soundtracks does that to me like the soundtrack from Classic WoW.
I've been listening to a lot of WoW on RUclips these past several weeks. This mix is a great piece of work. I commend you on an effort worthy of deep appreciation. My playing experience has been augmented by this fine soundtrack.
I remember being in the barrens looking for the next quest, i couldnt find it so i just started killing mobs to get to the next zone, then doing the waling caverns to get that epic tank shield :P RIP Vanilla WoW, we will always love and miss you.......:(

Ja ich kann das sehr gut nachvollziehen. Vanilla hatte die magischste und beeindruckenste Musik von allen addons. Die musik hat einfach das ausgestrahlt was wow sein sollte... Eine riesen welt die nur darauf wartet erkundet zu werden. Und ich glaube deswegen sind viele wow spieler (ich auch) sehr enttäusscht weil die musik von den neuen addons einfach keine emotionen mehr hervorruft. Es ist ein ganz normales spiel geworden. Ich werde immer sehr sentimental wenn ich die musik von Brachland höre in diesem mix. Es lässt mich daran erinnern wie ich wochen lang gequestet habe und ich einfach in diese welt abtauchen konnte mit dieser musik die bis heute in meiner erinnerung als das wow bleibt was ich über alles geliebt habe RIP wow du hast mir paar wunderschöne jahre gegeben und nun versuch bei spieler der ganzen welt durch meine arbeiten auf youtube diese erinnerungen wieder aufzuwecken als bei wow nicht darum ging gold zu machen sondern in eine magische welt einzutauchen und spaß zu haben.
Giganerd status. I remember reading the first Warcraft book by Richard Knaak while riding the bus to high school my freshmen year. I had found a collection of some music rips and burned them to a CD. Specifically remember getting goosebumps when my Walkman played 01:49 just as Broxigar's story resolved. This franchise was literally magical back then.

I remember logging out after Cata/Panda/WOD thinking WTF was that?! I'm excited to see Vanilla coming back, and Shadow Looks amazing, fingers crossed. There is this , deep rooted nostalgia that is unlike anything I've ever known when this music plays.

There is people that don't believe in vanilla wow like a good game or worthy of a official server , they say old wow was boring at leveling , and very slow, etc . But there is more in this game than just game mechanics, there is a weight in the musics, in the places you visit, in the people you met . There for vanilla wow would be a great place for people like us to reunite with our beloved game. WOW VANILLA NEVER FORGET.

As someone who's 29 now I got to experience some of the best video games. I don't think the relevant games of today come close to the late 90s and 2000s
I do not suffer from nostalgia like some (most) people do, but it would be cool if Blizzard would add those official "vanilla" servers to satisfy the original champions of Azeroth.
How many people here are saying that the original experience was far more unic and the feeling far more precious without understanding that it never was about the game but about nostalgia : All generations of players started Wow to a different point, and for all of them, the moment they started will be the one they remember as the most perfect Wow experience. Wow brings feelings, especially when you don't know it, and its hard to acknowledge that once it is gone, it is hard if not impossible to feel it again.

After 15 years of playing this game, I find out the Wetlands music I loved so much was called Soggy Place. Amazing...
