I have said it before but will say it again, looks amazing. Bummer about kicking up a bit, the lightweight lip does the same thing (although I understand why that one does it since it is just a flat board mounted flush with the bottom of the bumper) and defeats the purpose and on some angles with the light weight looks a bit weird. Hope diverge fixes this on the cheaper versions (which I did not know were coming out but really does hope he makes them, I would be in for one).
I want to run a 18x9+30 arc 8 setup on my car with a 255/40 tire squared and lower it on b8's+h&r sports, do you think that's going to rub or have any issues? I know it's an aggressive setup but I want to autox my rwd 340 this year. Thank you
Sorry, but isn't it obvious, that putting the car on a lift is going to have an impact on the angle since the car already has that forward stance when it's set on the floor? I'm sure this lip will have a downward angle anyways, as soon as the car stands on its wheels.
I mentioned this a bit right after highlighting the upwards angle. I actually did do my measurements on the ground with suspension settled and there was still an upwards angle. I also did my measurements the same way to verify the wedges got me to the angle I needed.
@@FaRKle0079 okay sorry. Didn't have much time, so I skipped through the video at some points. Wish there were a similar splitter for the F30. I know there is one that kinda looks like the upper part, but you'd have to build the extension yourself and I don't know if the splitter has enough stability to carry the added weight (especially if it's working).
@@jhill92 No worries! I added that blurb about it because I knew there'd be people like yourself with a sharp attention to the details! Yeah, Suvneer has the "JHP" F30 lip that's a similar style. It can probably be made to support a lower splitter with a little reinforcement (add some thin ABS sheet inside to thicken up the bottom). Then you could use ABS or alumaboard to make a matching lower splitter for it.
Nice seeing ya at the track 😉
Yeah it was great meeting you, hope to see you out there again!
@@FaRKle0079 indeed
what compounds are you running?
@@MrScottpeterson2112 I have Ferodo DS3.12 pads. I like them, although they wear a tad faster than I was expecting (still not bad/fast wear).
noice!!! great quality!

Beautiful ride.
Hey Farkle, is there a way I can contact you about some F30 questions?
