I think it’s great. No only does it show diagnosis it also demonstrates the thought process in coming up with a solution. Most interactions with trades is a quotation for the work with very little explanation. Hats off.
I am pretty sure the home owners in and around the areas where you work are supper happy that there are reputable companies like yourself that goes through all the fine detail to deliver profesional service like we see here. Compared to the fly-by-nights who don't even blink when they con people out of the hard earned money. And what I like most of how you do your work is you go back even after 3 month to point out how the system now functions after rain. That I think is highly commandable.
Thank you Neville! I love seeing the system working. Sometimes I have to tweak something once we see how it's working, but we make sure to get it correct.
Once again you go above and beyond to solve a problem that a customer didn't know they had. What a simple fix to add the condensate line to the job. Also, enjoyed seeing a little more of your team working. It's impressive that they are so thorough and have the attention to detail like you. I think I heard one of them say "Level Up"
It's my favorite part Jesse. Seeing the problem solved. I've got some very interesting problems coming up that even I was surprised how well we solved them.
I've watched several of your videos. Glad that you follow up to check how the procedures worked to solve the water problems. Thanks for explaining the reasons for your methods. It's so good to see the finished product working after the rain tests. Thanks for sharing and be safe.
I've watched every video, and never realized the trench digger has a little plow on it, that's neat. Can't wait for the next video, love you and the crew
Yes, we leave the trench mounded with seed and straw. It looks like crap but it settles well and doesn't disturb the pipe. We use quality seed that fills in quickly. 👍
I love that everyone gave feed back on the coring, awesome to see you core and hear about the positive comments from your customers, I may not comment all the time but I ALWAYS enjoy your videos!!! A++
To keep pressure on the core drill, you could use a ratchet strap around the drill handle anchored to the trailer or trencher in the street. Glad to see you're back, great work.👍
Or maybe a bottle jack anchored againist a stake in the ground pushing the drill slowly. Use a Y adapter for the head of the jack . And a drill mounted waterpump to suck out the cooling water from the trench
You could use a shop vac for the water instead of pulling the drill out every time to bail out the water, and maybe a high lift jack behind the drill and the other end against a post or the trencher
You all work as a team and it is a pleasure to watch. Wait until this clients neighbor decides to replace that seriously crushed and debris filled corrugated discharge to the street.
Shawn, I love the attitudes and work ethics of your entire team. You are blessed, along with your customers. The condensation line's output to the curb was considerable, proving the wisdom of catching it in your system and ending the muck around the bush. Another great job.
@@GCFD oh I am aware. I just got my part one 07 this summer and I am big into drone flying now plus I have watched probably every single one of your videos twice ha ha.I can tell
A tip for using the core drill in the trench - put a shovel or bar behind the drill and use it to apply the pressure as a lever to push the drill (same way the guys push the pipe together) Worked for me many times drilling into pits.
To apply pressure to the core drill you can weld together a fork looking tool with a long handle to apply pressure very carefully praying the actual saw that's turning and poking the ground for leverage, I hope I was able to be understood, hehehe.
I really like watching these drainage solutions. Of course, where I am in Colorado, we don't have many issues because it seldom rains. From May to the end of the year, this was the warmest and driest period ever in the Denver area. Therefore...the fires.
@@GCFD It has been incredible. It is cold now, and we just had 10 inches of snow in Loveland, but the climate trend continues to be very warm and dry. Love your videos and wish you continued success. You deserve it.

Great video Shawn. Awesome job GCF! If you pre-drill a 3/4" or bigger hole on the lower spot where you are coring, a lot of the water inside the curb will be alleviated. I love watching people working and how it is done, it looks like a great team you have. I would like to add that local road agencies may not like those locally maintained curbs being cut or cored. Flowing water onto the road can cause icing and accelerating deterioration of the pavement surface. Since every place is different, it should be said that folks watching should always follow their local ordinances before cutting or digging close to the road. I do want to commend the post work inspection in the rain. Nothing beats actual rain to verify a good job. Great video overall.
