That's a shame you lost the cactus. Do you know how old it was? Tomatoes are much tastier although I've never eaten a cactus. Lol.

Very interesting. Do you know if any of the Saguaro cactus is edible (humans) That would of been the time to try it. I have just found your AZ living videos and find them helpful. We are in WI and thinking of moving there.

$150.00 bucks to remove the saguaro??? Those guys did not charge you enough. I wonder if their boss knew they were doing a side job?

If they don't have branches, then they're not even 75 as that's how long it takes to even start growing the first one.
A saguaro is considered an adult at 125 years old and may weigh around 6 tons and be up to 50 feet in height. Also, as far as I'm aware, I don't think there have even been any 200 year old saguaro's found or kept. (That have been reported/are known, at least.)

@@juggernautxtr ah, well then they are most certainly well over one hundred years. The easiest way to age them is by measuring their height. They tend to grow an inch a year.

Yep, I just did the math. 3 amigos working a side job, they each got $50.00 each and didn't tell the boss. And you know what? They pay them $5.00 a day in Mexico... so these amigos think they died and went to Mexican heaven.

Sorry, but that saguaro could have easily been stood back up from where it fell, staked and lived! It was probably 75 years or older. Shame on you!

Ur dumb... it would cost a lot more to replant instead of having the white man bring in his 20k dollar crane... and charge 1000....this man found 3 cheap mexicans to do this dirty fucking job for 12o bucks..... dummmy

No Wes, you are dumb. I had one the same size that fell over. Tied a rope around it, hooked the rope to my truck and pulled it up. Staked it to keep it upright. ZERO dollars. People are just too lazy to do this themselves. PATHETIC!
