he sang he vocals for "Fooled Around and Fell in Love" by guitarist Elvin Bishop.. a 1976 hit.. lots of cool stuff from early to late 70s (except most of the dico in late 70s.. Bee Gees had some good music in the disco genre, also early to mid 1970s...*the BeeGees*)

Not sure why it wasn't a big hit. It reached #29 on the Billboard Hot 100. My theory about why classic rock stations won't play this is that the later pop songs performed by Starship after Paul Kantner left tarnished the band's image and made them damaged goods as far as the classic rock community was concerned.

I've made it to 62 years of life, and this music is missed dearly. Rock today doesn't meet the level of Rock in the 70's and 80's. Now artists are doing covers of anything. Just the other day, I heard a cover of a Phil Collins song. It was okay in a sucky way. I miss the 80's!

UNBELIEVABLE VOICE! Loved, loved, loved this song when it first came out. Still do. Always will be one of my favorite songs of all times. Makes me feel as though I am still in my 20's.
