Making a Leather Belt with a hidden hook instead of a buckle, Mechanics belt.

- Leather belts are one of the most common items made by most leather crafters. This is a style that I have not seen very often. When I first had someone ask for one he called it a Mechanics belt. Said the lack of metal buckle was to avoid scratching the paint on vehicles. I have found that they are also a good option for people who find the buckle uncomfortable on belts because of surgery scars or sensitivities to metals.
I am always working on building something and try to average a RUclips video once a week. Most often leather work, but I have also posted videos on black smithing, knife making, casting, and even how I make soap. Be sure to Subscribe if you are interested in any of these topics, or just making things in general.

I LOVE mine!! It is my CCW belt. I am trying to make it a little thinner in the tab end because appendix carry means it goes off to the side. Great belt.
