Nobody could ever sell me that Joe didn't enjoy himself in Oshkosh! I saw that smile with him sandwiched between the two flight attendents. Oshkosh needed Joe and Buffalo as much as he needed it. Good on ya!

For anyone interested there is 8760 hours in a year- Joe has between 15 and 20 thousand hours of flight time- think about that. That's actual hours in the cockpit actively flying a plane with no auto pilot or any of that stuff- one you have to really fly. That's a lot of flight time for any pilot, but unheard of for someone who has no auto pilot. There are only a few pilots in the world with that much recorded flight time and the vast majority of them fly big airliners with on board computers and auto pilots that can even land the plane. I think take off is about all the only thing auto pilots still don't do, and I may be wrong about that. I don't like Joe's attitude or the way he treats his employees or runs his business but- he's an amazing pilot.
Many of the Russian pilots in Africa have more hours. Also with no autopilot. But nonetheless that’s a great amount of time Joe has spent in these awesome planes.

Sharon is a sweet lady. Joe is a hard ass. However I bet he treats Sharon well. He is a gentleman and has his mother’s good qualities. She was well liked by most who met her. She was a beautiful woman in & out. She helped many people. They were a solid family, well liked and helped the community.

I thought they sold those water bombers? It seems like the episodes weren't filmed in chronological order.

Is Oskosh really the world's largest air show? Based on what? Number of aircraft? Maybe because they are mostly small.
