Mike K. This was helpful even to me who knows and can play a Gm in it's full form with some but at my age it is painful and especially on an acoustic, it doesn't always sound good. These easier ways will sure help me. Thank you So much for all you do for guitar players everywhere. I sincerely hope I'm not alone when I say how much it is appreciated!!

Genius mate! I’ve been trying to learn guitar on and off for two years and never really learned much. I couldn’t get interested in learning enough despite having interest in wanting to play it. This is purely down to many other RUclipsrs out there posting tutorials that drag on, not close enough for us beginners to see what they’re doing, and many other things I could point out. But you have actually taught me three chords in less than a day which has got me very interested in “sticking” to learning the guitar. Thanks mate

another way could be a bar on first 3 strings on 3rd fret and your ring finger on fourth string on the fifth fret. this way sounds really good, and its also very easy to play.

I'm sorry but a G power chord is NOT a G minor chord because it lacks the minor third. It's an interval (fifth), a perfect one, it doesn't have a "mood" it's neither major nor minor.
