Hi, I use Protools and cubase and I do video editing. I’m thinking of buying this mini Mac M4 but it’s so expensive to upgrade. What’s your opinion get this? Or go for a skytech nebula, gaming, PC? I’ll buy whatever works the best for my music … I usually do 5-6 tracks so pretty small Thanks!
@@TYLERBALLADS I'm also a music producer as you saw in the video. I highly recommend the M4 mini and if you want to save some money, check out my other video detailing how to save big money on storage and avoid those costly apple upgrades. Thanks for watching!
I have two external NVMEs, one for storage while the other houses all of the apps that macOS will let me move. That alone gave me back 20+GB of internal storage.
Just Got my mini 3 days ago, first new mac ever. My saberent tb3 enclosure is on it's way, should be plenty fast enough for a while and use and external 5Tb had for time machine backups
I have a Acer VG240Y E monitor with Freesync hooked up to my base M4 mini via DP to USB-C and a LG 24MS530B via USB-C. Playing a lot of GRID Legends, RE2, RE Village and RE7 on mine.
I would rather increase the RAM than increase the storage at the Apple Store. Since the storage can be increased for less than $200 with an external solution as you showed in another video.
Definitely ordering the base Mac mini with 24 GBs of RAM instead of 16. I'll be working with Tenacity and iMovie with several Safari (or Firefox) tabs open for a future YT channel, plus I'll be the producer of two podcasts in 2025 (one for my sisters and one for myself). In my down time, I'll be playing Cities Skylines and maybe 2 if Crossover or Whisky can run the second one, and those along with Transport Fever 2 are very RAM- and CPU-hungry games. Working on the 4TB external SSD enclosure now, picking up the mini in early March.
hdmi 3.2? i thought was 2.1.... how has this been for you w external display support so far ? thanks for making your other video about the swapping out home folders to external, it great to see people rally on sticking it to whoever is so insanely greedy at apple that calls the shots on their base specs... is that setup still going good? i tried it and it worked but i was legit too dum to not get confused by the two home drives 😂 from reading a comment on that video, and from quite a few other ppl saying 2 just boot from external, i gave that a shot as well, and it worked great off a 2tb 3200 read speed nvme in a tb4 enclosure - weirdly like having two machines ?? idk but photoshop was actually faster than running of the apple 1tb internal on a m1 mbp 16 ??? anywayyy would be curious what you think of this cool dude right heres product ---> ruclips.net/video/ftDzR_B_vv0/видео.htmlsi=dKwYY0Q2MVcxo9If v tempted to give them a shot...
Are you considering picking up this affordable beast? Let me know what you’ll be using it for if so!

It’s crazy how full you can keep the internal with some conscious external decisions 🙏

That’s amazing!! It’s insane how capable such a small package is

I love the wallpaper where can I get it?
Dynamic wallpapers app in the App Store, just search supra and you should see it there :)
The next MAC MINI may be the size of an ifone...
