This video is perfection! You are wonderful musicians, great stage performers, I LOVE the song, and this illustrates that mountain "clogging", "step dancing", and "folk dancing" are all combined due to great music. If the lead singer moved just a teeny, teeny bit more she would have been clogging as good as any person in the Appalachians! Wow. And I loved the impromptu encore! If I ever get to your part of the world I want to see you "Live"! Thank you, Moppet
I can not stop whistling!!! I do not have any idea what that song was about nor could I understand the lyrics, but that is what is so cool about music. It doesn't matter! It is all in our souls, and you people have it in your souls! Thank you for sharing that! I only wish I was there in the audience or better yet up on that stage with you playing and having fun, because that is what this is all about! THANK YOU! 5 BIG STARS!
I would have given anything to have been in the audience. I had grandparents who emigrated to the U.S. from rural Goteborg (and, yes, I know how to pronounce it). I also can say grace at the table in Swedish and do a little mild swearing, learned from grandma Eufemia.
This is the only tune I have in common with my Grandfather Andrew Veidel. He played it on the fiddle and mandolin. He didn't live long enough to play it for me, but my mother hummed it for me.
Takk for insattsen. DS
can someone give me the name of the female singer with violin? Thank you This is my favorite version Can't read the language, but maybe Klastor has Hannah Lindblom?
does anyone know the words in English? My dad's parents were immigrants from Torsby Sweden. shortly before he passed away on Jan 18, 2017 he sang parts of this song He was 92 years old. I would love to know what the words were.
Couldn’t really hear the vocalist much over the sound of the instruments. Otherwise it was very good. I would have liked to hear the lyrics more though.
I love this! My favorite Swedish song, and a Sutherland favorite of my mom and her siblings.❤
I just love this song My Dads name was Johan from Stockholm. I wish he were here to hear this, R I P Dad. Cry my eyes out each time I hear this.
Man, that got to my heart, truly. I feel for you. May this song bring you fond memories and warmth.
me too. great song! The woman singing steals my heart!
This song reminds me of my Uncle whistling and singing Johan Pa Snippen as he worked. So many years since I heard this. Now I have tears. Beautiful.

My dad taught me this song 65 years ago on the accordion.

It is a wonderful story about Johann in The Corner has bought an Accordion and plays for a dance and what a time they all have from young to old.
beautiful, wonderful, i can´t sit...
Mycket vackert.

Sångerskan är kanonbra!!!
Det här svänger ju grymt!
Heja Hanna Lindblom
Spelglädje är så fint :) Sköna ni är...
my son has to sing this in music class
Hon med kjolen "Anna" ser verkligen vacker ut.
It was a delight to dance Polka with my young wife.
There are lyrics? I didn't know!
Thank you!
Extremely good,I would have trouble, remember all the lyrics :-)
I enjoyed this very much. Thank you for sharing. Fran
Svänger underbart
Underbart!!!
Takk for insattsen. DS
Wow! Härligt!!
I'd love to hear your rendition of Life in the Finnish Woods. How about it, yes?
Me, too. Lois in Port Arthur sTX

You've got it. It's Hannah Lindblom
does anyone know the words in English? My dad's parents were immigrants from Torsby Sweden. shortly before he passed away on Jan 18, 2017 he sang parts of this song
He was 92 years old. I would love to know what the words were.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theodor_Larsson possible author of the words
beautiful performance :)
a pity i can't understand the words ^^
where can I get the lyrics for this song?
Is Hannah Lindblom the lead singer?
Couldn’t really hear the vocalist much over the sound of the instruments. Otherwise it was very good. I would have liked to hear the lyrics more though.
Nagon som vet vad sangerskan heter?
awesome
Skitbra

Riktigt dåligt hur man lyckas förstöra en klassisk sång
