Formal really brings so much championship experience to this team despite not competing in halo for about a decade. Just his composure in that game 5 when he said not to play scared and they'd win, that's some veteran leadership talking.
He's comms has always been A tier.

Halo should offer this kind of content as an alternative stream when the event is going on. The commentary on the main stream is good for people who dont know whats going on but its annoying if you have a grasp on the game

Love this halo content
This is really good, I'd love to see more of these from the biggest series at each event.
I like this format, it shows the mindset of the two teams and how they try to build themselves up, how to bounce back from a loss and also maintain momentum. You can see why both teams are at the elite level. I just think Optic put in more work and prep for this tourney. If they keep up this level they will be really hard to beat at worlds.
If Sentinels and Cloud9 really put in the work and even Faze and EU, I think anything could happen though....which makes it exciting!

Matt is so final with these coms. He’s a turret with his shots and an insane presence on the map. His coms can completely take over game. The fact that this team can take the time to look at each other’s screen on the main stage, and win interactions is next level dominance.
Halo is so much more fun to watch when you van hear the comms. Seems insane to not do the listen-in's way way more and always st the very end if the game is close. Listening to those comms at the end of the streets strongholds game was amazing. At the very least you guys should be putting these videos out after every competition. Would love to see other series too and not just the grand finals.

Very underrated play by Lucid at 17:10. He knows that they can trade kills and win. He knows he has help with him. So he super slides out and gets a melee on a player to make him one shot, and he instantly gets cleaned up after. Amazing heads up play.
It’s a play not everyone makes. No disrespect, but I don’t see Royal 2 making that play. Not to take away from his greatness, he just has a different style.
