Guys its ok to try like this without a thermostat. But if u can afford it u must buy, bcaz the bulb will produce excess amount of heat which obviously cannot be controlled without a thermostat. It costs only 150 rupees in nearby markets. But it is like 250 rs in online market.
If u want a perfect result, do buy one thermostat and 12V adapter.
The rate of percentage of hatching will be between 70 to 80%.
But without a thermostat the hatching rate will be very less compared to an incubator with thermostat.

This doesn't work because the temperature for a egg to hatch 35 to 38 degrees. If the bulb is turn on the temperature keeps increasing and the chick dies instantly. A proper incubator can be made only with a thermostat so that the bulb keeps turning on and off maintaining a accurate temperature and making the egg hatch.
According to my calculation is costs RS.700/-
