Beautiful quilts and quilting! I always look forward to Wednesday to see the quilts you have complete with your gorgeous quilting. Thanks so much for sharing your time and talents with all of us, and for the encouragement that you give to keep finishing our quilts.
Your videos are always so well put together. I'm learning so much from watching you every week and have been so inspired, which has led to me buying loads of fabric as a result! Thanks for the videos!
I made the bookshelf quilt from Pat Sloan's book for my teacher daughter-in-law. She teaches in a small private family school and it hangs on their library wall there❤
Beautiful quilts Tammie. Love all you do. Did I miss your scrappy spools quilt. Congratulations on all your grandbabys ❤️wonderful news. And your wedding pics as well. ❤
I think I heard Jenny Doan say in a video once that if she noticed it/thought about it three times, she took it out. I think that is good advice. Always love seeing your videos of the beautiful quilts each week!
The Laundry Basket Quilt is Triangle Star. It is in her book Patches of Stars. Love your u tube video. I’m a new long arm quilter, and I learn so much from you. ❤️
Early this week! What a pleasant surprise! It would probably almost be easier to re-make the two blocks than to take out the fabric and replace it IF you really think it's that important to "fix". In the grand scheme of things, who's ever going to notice? Some hiccups HAVE to be fixed. I don't think this is one of them, IMHO. But if it bothers you, and sometimes these little things will keep eating away at us (ask me how I know)... You have, once again, shown what an eye you have for design and scale. I love everything about how the Regal Pines quilt turned out! Can't wait to see what you have for us, next week! God bless!
I would have to take out those blocks that are wrong side. I think you will always see them otherwise. Can’t wait to see it all together! love all the quilts but the library quilt is just stunning!
I would love to join but I think it is wonderful for the reasoning of your circle. So I will quilt with my group Yes change it while it is easy to do otherwise you will point it out every time ❤❤❤
I think it will really look good as you put those in with your other blocks. If you do change that one block you'll be happy if not you'll see it when you look at it
Tammie, I just love it when someone has you quilt their quilt and then I find out that I own the book with the pattern! Thanks for the eye candy entertainment while I sewed binding on a quilt. I will share my accidentally mixed up fabric mishap. I made 4 Christmas Tree quilts last year. I decided to use Kona Snow as the background but didn't have enough so I ordered yardage online. While waiting for it to arrive I cut pieces from fabric I already had and began making HSTs. The yardage I received came in 2 pieces which isn't a big deal BUT one piece was Kona Snow and one piece was Kona Bone. I didn't realize it until I was too deep into the project to stop as I was making all 4 at the same time. After I quilted them it wasn't that noticeable, but wow what are the chances of that happening?
All so beautiful. Amaz9ing work. For the last quilt. She used a flannel on the back and cotton on the front. Would you know if she pre-washed the flannel so it won't shrink in the wash? Because the flannel acts differently then the cotton.
Does anyone know the name of Pat Sloan’s book that contains The Love Of Books pattern? I’ve been googling my heart out and can’t find any mention of it. Thank you!! Great video, as always! ❤
I admire your "use what you have" and "make it do" self-discipline. as for your hourglass star block, with two lighter background segmeents, you might as well correct it now, or your inner OCD demon is going to nag you every time you see it. That's been my experience, anyway.
All are gorgeous! Love of Books and Regal Pines and Cabins -- like a story all on their own!
So true!
Amazing quilts and your quilting really brings them to life. Thank you for all you show us🫶🫶
You are so welcome! Glad you liked them!

I love Handiquilter too. I had trouble with the suppliers of longarms. They were going to the Chicago show and I got demos directly from them.
I'm so glad you found a machine that works for you. ♥️

It’s wonderful to be part of a quilting community!
For Lynn's quilt, looks like Ocean Waves from Laundry Basket Quilts.
Thanks!

Oh my Jenny! I'm glad to know that I'm not alone!
I have had similar experiences with handiQuilter tech support. They stay on the phone until the issue is resolved. Love my HQ!
Me too!
😍😍
Change it to the correct side
Just leave it !!!

Thank you!! Great video, as always! ❤
I believe it is based off Pat's quilt called " Love your Library"- which is in, Pat Sloan's Holiday Hoopla: 12 Quilts for Everyday & Special Occasions
@ Thanks so much for the info!!
Glad you got the info. I updated the details in the description so that others could find it too.
Thanks for the help!

Someone once told me her mother's/grandmother's rule was: Use what you have, make do, or do without.
