Michael appears to be a typical American who is out of touch with what is happening on the ground in Israel. He needs to listen to Caroline Glick more and get ahead of Gadi. 😂
I’m a RUclips junky and I can confidently say this is my favorite show. I have questions that need answering: 1. Why does Mike like/care for Israel so much? We jews who have deep reason to care don’t seem to have anything on him? 2. Gadi I need you to go on Dan Senor’s “Call Me Back” show. Too much Nadav Eyal. 3. What do you guys think of Haviv Rettig Gur? Yalla
FYI the "rope" found in Feldstein's cell was claimed to be the rubber gasket around the window glass. Surprising that there was a window at all, and that it was within reach.
Ayala Hasson on Ch 11 last night (Monday) said that the censor has the right to stop coverage in Israel of int'l leaks and that the censor did NOT prevent discussion of this document on security grounds. She mentioned that, a few days after the Bild story, a journalist from Israel Hayom specifically asked the censor if she could report the content of that document and was given permission. This is indication that there is no genuine risk to any source (as per Mike's original hypothesis)
I’m at the point where Mike just said that “there was a debate going on in Washington abour whether Iranians were killing Americans.” What! 😳????!!! It was all over the internet at the time. It was like watching a Pink Panther movie “How was I to know they were robbing the bank?” Good grief! At the time I could not understand why America was ignoring Iran’s clear involvement (via IRG personnel, equipment and weapons - in both iterations of our war with Iraq).I kept saying to myself “hey, dummies; Iran is our enemy, too!” Thanks, Mike, for clearing up the matter. The same blockheads (or their protégés) who were managing intelligence them must also be doing so now .
GADI - in that wonderful book by TOM WOLFE, my favorite story is TRUE... It's "The Last American Hero". I have the book and reread that story from time to time, BECAUSE I'm from North Carolina! It wasn't 'whiskey' Junior Johnson was transporting; it was MOONSHINE, straight from the still! When I was a teenager, we used to hang out at our local "Dairy Bar". One night, a bunch of us had just left the place and were in the large parking lot (that shared the space with a big box store), when the ABC (Alcohol Beverage Control - our county was "dry") Agent drove up in his large Ford and motioned for us to come over to the car. He got out and opened the extra large trunk, in which were two HUGE plastic "jugs" - the two took up the whole space. Then, he opened one of them and suggested each of us take a whiff of what was in them. I went first and backed away, getting slightly dizzy from the smell of MOONSHINE! He had just destroyed a local still and arrested the guys who were operating it. By the way, in James Taylor's famous song "In My Mind, I'm Going to Carolina", one of the lines says, "Can't you see the sunshine, can't you just feel the moonshine?" He was born and grew up in Chapel Hill, NC. and always smiles when he sings that line! So, Junior Johnson's escapades in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina was not fake... WE all knew about it very well, and loved to watch NASCAR races, such as at the North Wilkesboro racetrack mentioned by Tom Wolfe at the beginning of the story. NASCAR is still BIG in the small town where I was born and grew up; years ago, there was a NASCAR guy who lived in the street one block from me! We used to hear him working on his car (and sometimes went over to watch)! Anyway, as soon as you mentioned the book, I started to write this message to you about "The Last American Hero", and I'm so glad we agree on Tom Wolfe's writing and were excited to read about hero Junior Johnson! Oh, and I'm a regular watcher/listener to your "Tablet Israel Update" with you and Mike Doran... And I have been suggesting it and sharing the link with friends in the USA, Canada, the UK, and other parts of the world. Keep it up!

Another wonderful and helpful podcast! Treats for recovering Bibi-derangement patients. Two propositions for future podcasts. How about: - providing us with your views on the merits of the concept and practice of 'deterrence', based on your thorough experience? Too 'experts' in the West "appreciate" it theoretically, but de facto belittle it or have a distaste for it in their assessments, leaving them in Shueftanian 'la-la-land'. (why is that?) - You've done some good interviews in the past. How about one with Amir Avivi or others from IDSF? Or with someone conveying the role of long-term/ large scale intentional indoctrination/disinformation campaigns regarding Israel? (Izabella Tabarovsky as Sowjet historian, or people studying its current manifestations). Greetings from CH.
Considering Biden's (and now Macron's) authorization to use NATO weapons inside Russia + Putin's update to Russia's nuclear response doctrine -- I would have thought that this episode would be titled : "MAD , and when we learned to love the Bomb" .

Caroline Glick is very knowledgeable on the matter of Eli Feldstein and his friends in shabak’s dungeons. She had two video about it on youtube. 14 and 17 of November.

Discuss and answer why trump does not have on the table exiling UN from USA and openly declaring that it is just too corrupt to reform and continue acknowledging the UN as credible and valid .
Another great episode, but the Tom Wolfe reference made it perfect. I have to disagree w/Gadi's view that Wolfe was not a worthwhile novelist. His first two, "Bonfire ..." and "Man in Full", point the way to the US of 2024. Also, he does have (a few major) characters who aren't social climbers, for example, Conrad in "Man ...". Can you please advise where are safer places for Israelis and Jews? I live in Australia and do not feel safe there as a Jew. Thinking of Aliah.
As an Australian living in north Qld I am sorry to hear that. Our immigration policy which brings in incompatible hostile cultures warrants pushback.
