Someone once shared with me that we are really never alone. If we look around everything is alive, the trees, the animals, the air, the ground I think you have it in you to listen to what’s around you ….you seem like a very introspective person . Take care . I love the snow , lucky you !!
This is a true statement. Because everything you see, will also exist again, just as we will. Nothing is created to die indefinitely. Trees, grass, birds, bugs, nothing just goes away, everything has a spirit to it, and will be brought back again in a better place. I'm glad you brought this up.
Dear Daniel, I'm from Jona's channel... What you are living is really a unique and great experience, being alone with yourself. This instropection is truly valuable, as you understand now that you are part of the world, part of the universe, part of social and familial relatives. Is our purpose leads us to be alone ? where is the balance between being alone and with others ? So many questions you'll have the chance to be given the right answer. Lots of love from southern France, thinking of yu, beautiful soul !
Exactly! Even though it's not a pleasant feeling to feel like this, I do believe it has meaning. I will learn lot and be able to see things with new eyes. Thank you for such a sweet comment! Much love to you! 💕
I moved from Chicago to rural West Clare ireland and it took some adjustment. I'm an introvert too, but even introverts need interaction with others to some extent. One thing that helped me with loneliness was to join a book club. I know that may sound simple but sometimes doing one simple thing is like a reset button. For now though, I'm so happy that your parents and cousin are visiting with you! (Get a dog!) As far as a hot bath goes, maybe you should think about getting a giant tub for water that you can put in your kitchen and fill with hot water for an occasional bath, like they did in pioneer days!
So nice to hear from someone who has done a similar thing! It's reassuring to hear that it takes some adjustment for most, even though it would be easier for us all if we could adjust right away! But then again, I do believe ups and downs make life interesting, and as said, we learn a lot from the downs! So there's a reason for them, as well! 😊 I really love that recommendation! I actually signed up my name on a list for a potential knitting club! I think that's something I'd love to do! We would meet once a month and knit together! ☺️ Thank you for such a nice comment! Much love to you! 💕
Welcome to Ireland Janet. I have memories of being dried in front of a roaring fire in winter. I, too, am loving Daniels content, and I look forward to the months ahead. I also joined a book club, which I hope will help me through the dark winter months. ❤
@@DanielErik I LOVE the idea of a knitting club! That sounds as much fun as a book club. It will be a nice way to get to know people you probably wouldn't get to know as well otherwise. On top of the enjoyment of the monthly meetings it also helps when you run into some of the people from time to time and have a familiar face to say hi to and maybe have some casual conversation.
Blessings to you dearest Daniel from the Emerald Isle (Ireland). The sheer beauty of your content, how you open your heart, mind, and body, is overwhelming and beautiful. I am so delighted that Jonna has introduced you to us. Your content is pure and totally unique to you. You are never alone when you truly connect with nature. Love your family footage, and I am so excited to see what magic you bring to your channel. Namaste, beautiful soul. ❤
Wow, thank you so much! Like you say, I'm never truly alone with nature... but I'd like to add to that! I'm never truly alone with all of the beautiful people here! It means so much to read everyones comments! And even though I might not be able to reply to each and everyone, I take every comment to heart! ❤️
Don't give up Daniel. You are never alone when you are in nature. The city can be a very lonely place too. It's a state of mind. Loving the content and the beautiful scenery.
Another vote for getting a dog. It will change your life in 1000 wonderful ways. Physical connection is important. The feeling of getting a real-life hug and sharing a face-to-face laugh with a friend, or even a neighbour can't be replicated by online relationships. I It also doesn't help that it's winter - but I think you're doing marvellously. You're learning what you like and what you struggle with. It's all great experience that will lead you to the right place for you in the end. It may be that you prefer being out in nature but a short drive from a city so you can see friends and be closer to amenities. You're trying out different ways of living and it's all valuable. Having a dog will provide company, a routine and a bit of warmth on the sofa though! x
I totally understand what you are going through. I only see people once a month when I drive an hour away to do my shopping. I think having a dog would help a lot, but also talking to people on the phone can help to feel connected. Love your videos and I am also gay. ❤
Oh, how beautiful to meet another person who's gay and living in a rural place! 💕 So, are you completely alone for the rest of the month? That must feel very isolating, even if you're a lone wolf?
Yes, we are a rare breed! lol Most gay people would not live rural. I had a boyfriend, but he was feeling too isolated and wanted to move back to the city. I love living rural and am not happy living in a city, but it does get lonely sometimes. I just try to keep busy with taking care of my goats and chickens. I also have a big food forest and garden. @@DanielErik
Wow, I don't know what to say! You have no idea how much this is helping me out! You just opened up the possibility for me to visit my grandma on her birthday! Thank you so, so much!! 🙏🏻❤️
Hi Daniel! I'm enjoying watching your content. I think this setback is so that you can take a step back and evaluate the things that you most need/want that will help to make you truly happy. I also recommend getting yourself a dog as others have suggested. Having a dog helps tremendously. Even though I live in the city, I do spend most of my time in my own company as I'm an introvert. Since I got my dog earlier this year it's been a more wholesome experience. I got mine as a rescue stray and being in her company makes everything better.
Hello Daniel. So glad to see a new upload. I'm sorry you were feeling low, but as you mentioned you knew those feelings will hit you sooner or later. It's part of life unfortunately and I feel for you. We all go through ups and downs. I wish you better times (which will come, fingers crossed) and also a dog and a boyfriend 😊. Great video, glad your family visited you. Stay safe 🙏
Hi there! How glad I am to read that you were happy about a new upload! 🥰 Like you're saying, these dips are part of life! And even though they're never pleasant to be in, I really do believe they can teach us a lot! 🙏🏻 And last but definitely not least, I want to give you a huge, enormous thanks!! The Super Thanks you gave almost put tears in my eyes! 😭 You have no idea what that means! It all helps to release stress and anxiety over my finances! Thank you!! ❤️
@@DanielErikthank you for answering Daniel 😊. Yes, our ups and downs make us sometimes stronger and who we are. And you are such a nice person, I wish you well❤. I'm glad I could reduce your anxiety a bit, this is such a compliment, thank you so much, it means a lot 🙏. Sending you virtual hugs dear Daniel 🤗
Dear Daniel, I have found your channel through Jonna‘s video and I‘m soooo happy. You are such a wonderfully nice soul and I‘m very thankful, that you share your life and thoughts with us. Your videos are magical, I binge look them since I found you. ☺️ I totally understand your actual feelings of being alone. I also LOVE to be by myself, but sometimes it‘s also good to have someone around you. In the moment of loneliness I always think on that we are actually all one- the whole world, the nature, animals, people and every creature in this wonderful world. We are all connected, we aren‘t ever alone. 😊 and you have a big family here too, with many souls who love you. ❤️ Take care! 😊🤗
Thank you for rooting for me! 🥰 oh, you've lived and worked here? May I ask what made you want to come here? Was it for the job itself or something else? ☺️
Daniel, thank you so much that you are sharing not only good moments but difficulties as well. The atmosphere of your videos is so special. I've heard about you from Joanna and frankly saying you two are my favorite RUclipsrs now❤
Wow, that's such an enormous compliment!! Thank you! ❤️🙏🏻 And yes, I believe we should all share about difficult times as well. Social media can often be a place where we all try to make everything look perfect. But life is not perfect, life has ups and downs. And that's something I want to be very open with! 💕
@DanielErik I also have recently everything started from scratch because of the moving to a new country because of the war. And the accents that you place on the nature is so important for mental health and self-discovery. Such videos have already really helped me. And I'm sure not only me 😊
Have either of you watched the vlogs of @TheCottageFairy? She’s in the USA and has such a lovely vlog. She lives with her husband and is expecting a child. You will definitely add her to your favourite vloggers list! 🥰
So enjoyable to watch, Daniel. You made me laugh when you and your cousin were stuck in the snow 😁 hope you're feeling better, and not so disconnected from society. 💕
Thank you, dear Daniel Erik, for showing us even your tears… I find you really brave to move so far north and long way from the things you knew. Being alone with yourself is the most challenging school ever. And by far the most rewarding. Because you are you and so unique and valuable. I myself have so often hidden the difficult things in my own life, just because I found no one who kept on listening and caring from a young age. It kept me from listening to and being able to care for myself. I’m getting really good at it though now. So don’ t worry! So thank you once more for even sharing the hard parts of your days with us. I wish you a marvellous winter with both warmth inside and snow outside. Varm kram 🇸🇪 Marrit
As you said Daniel, we all have “moments of grief… moments where we just want to crawl down under our blankets and hide”. As I grow older, I have learned something beautiful. These moments of pain, of suffering, of despair- they are what makes us grow, become conscious, become aware and transform and unfurl into the open pure souls we all have the potential to be. Just like a caterpillar dissolves in her chrysalis to become a butterfly… it hurts. It’s hard. But the metamorphosis results in a new way of being. A new life. One where you have wings. You are growing your wings Daniel. You are not alone. This lovely community you are creating is with you. ❤xxx
Im so sorry to hear that things have been so difficult. You are a lovely person Daniel and also incredibly talented. Your photography is so stunning! Sending you love and hugs from New Zealand. 💗
You are exactly where you are supposed to be. Give it time. You are in a moment of learning about yourself. You are learning self sufficiency. You are relearning how to take care of yourself without modern amenities. You’ve been giving a wonderful gift in a beautiful place. Just wake up and say it’s going to be a wonderful day and my heart is greatful. Keep the faith and stay strong. 🙏. Thank you for another wonderful video.
Daniel, I don't have the answers, but I too go back and forth between wanting alone time and feeling lonely. I feel less alone after seeing your videos. I hope you feel less alone when we watch your videos.
That means so incredibly much to hear! And yes, I really do feel less alone after reading all wonderful and beautiful comments here! I'm almost in tears here - tears of gratitude towards you all! 😭💕
Hi Erik , Wondering if you have any crafts that you could do ? Something you create . You seem like such a nice person . I enjoy your videos. Take care !
I have been so much better at that when I was younger, to be honest! I once knit my own gloves and everything! But I actually wrote up my name today, for a group that meets up once every month to do just knitting! Would be so much fun to start with something like that again! And thank you so much for your compliment about my videos, I really appreciate it! 🥰
Hey Daniel, i discovered your channel after your collab with Jonna Jinton and have spent some time watching your videos and it's been really special to see your content. Congratulations on taking the step to live your dream living closer to nature. Too seek out what inspires you and makes you happy is what everyone should be aiming for though it can bring its challenges on the way. I'm an introvert as well and seek out nature too as a safe place for me to recharge, but i do know that i need social interaction in my life as well. So for you to long for you close ones is completely understandable. Big changes in our lives are always easier to deal with when we get to go through it with some one else. Seing you letting go of Alex was really heartbreaking though i understood your reasons. Maybe in some ultimate universe he would have chosen to move to Sweden sharing lives ups and downs with you. I'm sure how ever you proceed from here will be the right direction for you. Looking forward to see your future content 🙏 You got a new subscriber - Best regards from Denmark ❤
We are gregarious beings Daniel, animals are too, so it is normal to feel that way. The good thing is that you have an amazing support team that is always willing to relieve your loneliness. Your love for nature doesn't mean you have to be a hermit or romanticize the grieve. Little by little you will find the balance between both worlds. I wish you will. I love your honesty and if I said something that may hurt you I apologize. Love you sweetie.
You have definitely not said anything hurtful! You're always so full of love, Liliana! ❤️ I do believe I will find the balance, it will just take time. I am starting from scratch here, after all! It takes time to build a group of friends. But when that has happened, because I do believe it will, things will get easier. Until then, I always have you guys here! 🥰
Daniel, I think a canine companion would really help, always there, full of love, much company. I lived in isolation on mountain in Vermont for 7 years and the winters were especially difficult. You are correct, we need nature as well as connection to others. I would say that your connection to Jonna will open new friendships and with time, you will meet more people in your community. Thanks for sharing your journey.
Daniel, thank you for sharing with us. Car problems. The man upstairs must not want you to drive anywhere. You must of needed to be there. Hot bath on your own? You don't need to see a real live person because the people who love you are never far away.
I relate so much to this - I make RUclips videos in a similar spirit as you and have been feeling very similar. After a year of living full time on the road and traveling, I have just bought my first little home that I am renovating and it has not been easy (especially since I have no experience 😅 but that’s why I’m doing it!) sending so much love and support to you and know you are so not alone! Sending love from my corner of the world to yours! ❤

Dear Daniel, you are a very lucky person, you have a beautiful family and a fascinating life goal, I fall more and more in love with your home and the natural beauty that surrounds you. Your aura turns so blue when you talk about your feelings, it hurts. Thank you for the delivery and the beautiful images! Blessed BE...😍🥰🤩😍😍
@ Daniel Erik We're on quite the same page here, Erik. Loneliness can be a blessing and a curse both at the same time.. the only way to find out what really feels right for you is trial and error, from my experience, remember you have nothing to lose but experience to gain. You are free to chose your path (to a certain extent, at least:) I wish you a wonderful week ahead! Feel embraced
Oh yes, the way you describe loneliness is so accurate! It truly feels like a blessing and a curse, at the same time. It's something I crave and couldn't live without. But apparently, even I can get too much of it. So now I have to find a way that is a better balance for me! Something I did today was to sign up for a potential knitting club! 🥰
Your dad is like my grandpa in the Netherlands. At the first possible opportunity to ice skate, he would take me to the lake nearby, wrap a rope around his middle, the other end he would give to me and he would step onto the ice, telling me to pull him out if he did go through. I think I was 10 or younger? Probably not strong enough to pull him out if he did go, but that was how he'd always done it. He skated the Elfstedentocht five times. (11 city tour?) He always had ice fever! I remember the way the ice would crack and sing just like it did in this video. Only with thin ice and when you're the first putting weight on it does it sing like that for you. It is scary but the experience in itself is beautiful. We never fell through.
Nice video Daniel. The snow up there is no joke. It is so pretty though! Being alone can be tough but when you get to see people again it is that much more special. I'm glad you got to spend some time with your family. Looks like you all had fun. Stay warm my friend.
Loneliness is a strange thing you can be in a city of a million people and feel totally alone. Dog or bf is a tough choice! So happy how your channel is growing so quickly in the last few weeks 🎉
Hello Daniel, one last comment. Just wondering if you ever read Walden by Henry David Thoreau. I grew up in that area and I remember walking with my father around Walden Pond. It’s a special place you might enjoy the book.
Daniel your loneliness is palpable! I send you a great big hug and hope you go knock on some doors and find some local community to get your connection and a puppy to grow with. Don’t forget, this is your life, you can be someone who spends all of your time there, or splits it between rural and travelling - choose your adventure and don’t let definitions of “success” in moving to the country define how you spend your life. I had a location astrology reading done on my podcast this week and it’s fascinating to see how different places can achieve different things for you- so for example once my kids have left home I’ll probably spent part of my year in Australia and part in Europe so that I nourish all aspects of what I need. You don’t have to be either you can be both 🌆🏔️.
Daniel I also came to your channel since your video with Jonna. I never get bored with seeing the beautiful landscape. Love your interaction with your Dad. It's so good to have supportive family to catch up with. Don't be too hard on yourself. You can get there little by little just don't abandon the dream. ❤ 😘
I am sorry to hear about your car. It is natural to miss your other home and family. It is great that your family comes to visit and enjoy time together. I never saw ice skates before. You had a lot of snow to shovel. The ice bath looked so cold. I don’t know how you do it. It would be hard to live without a hot shower. The nature including the trees, lake, snow and all are beautiful full of life and color. You should try going home every month are so to recharge your batteries. Variety adds the spice to life.
At your age one is typically restless in their soul. Someday you'll learn to appreciate the stillness and the quiet and then one day the quiet will become deafening. Life is always in transition try to be present in the current moment and when you're alone use that time wisely. Sometimes it's okay even when you're young to rest your body, your mind and stay stationary.
Hello from another snowy part of the world 🌎 Canada 🇨🇦 though we have no snow yet. We all need human connection and it sounds like you do have that. You can be in a crowd of people and have the loneliest experience. Choose your people wisely. 😊 You’re lovely ❤
Heyy Daniel I’m from Jonna’s channel and I am so shocked how similar you both are in the way you talk and what you do. I can truly relate to you with the feeling of loneliness but in my case I had been feeling that way because I was not forming a meaningful, intimate relationship with anyone or nit talking about the things that mattered to me. If you have the opportunity to do that with someone you feel safe with I’d recommend it. But I believe you should cherish this time because you have all the time in the world to figure yourself out and spend time alone. There is a time for everything, you got this much love from Germany
I've found your channel because of Jonna, but I've stayed because of you! You are such a beautiful, very brave soul. I wish you could embrace your loneliness and stay in peace with it. Give it space and see what happens next. And get yourself a dog, yes! It's a really good idea Take care of you Stay warm ❤❤
It thanks to Jonna that I found you. And now it's you, because you makes also beautiful video's. And yes you miss the shower and warm bath. (I know because we miss that to (a little bit)) Your dad,.... oh no too dangerous. But, heroic 🙂 wow, you get in the ice plunge, wow respect. I knew it would be so hard to say goodbye to you loved ones. But life goes on, and you can do that! Under you blanket or in the beautiful nature around you.Stay save 😘
Such a lovely channel, I'm very happy that you chose to share your life with the internet and give a possibility for others to find you! The cinematography is amazing, really, I don't have any experience with filmaking, but it's soo nice to watch and it inspires me to also continue to persue my dream to find my own home and my place in nature in my country ^^ All the love from Lithuania, I hope you days are bright and you home warm
Lolol, the part with your dad in the car..... teachers will always be teachers 😅 I really enjoy both your photography and cinematography skills, but also your raw-ness.... like you're sharing with us the highs and the lows, helping us to relax and enjoy and see different things when we walk outside our own doors, and also face uncomfortable emotional things like feeling lonely, or wanting more interaction. Yet in that, you're helping all of us to realize that we're not alone, and many have been where we are right now and can send words of encouragement. I also love that many of us are moved to write way more than just a sentence or two as comments ❤ Daniel, you're getting us all to think and connect 🥰 From northern British Columbia 🇨🇦
Seeing you all connect and become a part of this means everything to me! I'm so grateful I get to have such amazing viewers, and that we can all inspire each other! ❤️
Hello Daniel, I was very excited to see your video, in my RUclips feed. You are never truly alone, you have all your RUclips friends. Have you thought about spending some of your time in Stockholm , and then returning back to the country in the Spring ? This is your first time being in the country in the Winter, maybe breaking up the first Winter would be ok ? Just a thought. Are you able to get water into the house, or did you have to turn it off? Even a Lone Wolf, 🐺 wants to see other wolves sometimes. I’m glad your family came to visit , I hope they gave you big hugs 🥰 🤗. ❤
That makes me happy to hear, that you were glad to see I published a new video! 🥰 And yes, all the RUclips friends here definitely makes everything feel less lonely! So thank you for being here! ❤️ I am planning a visit down to Stockholm kinda soon! My grandmas birthday is coming up, and I want to be there for that! ❤️ Yes, I do have water in the main house! But not in the barn, where the shower is. That's why I can only shower during summer. During winter the water would freeze, so I've shut it off down there, unfortunately! Sending you a big hug! 🥰
I understand you Daniel! I live in a very remote area of Germany (I'm Spanish) and sometimes I miss being with people or having social contact. I am very happy living in nature but sometimes I feel it is necessary
All true what you say about "No one ever said it would be easy". For many many years I dreamt about moving to Sweden and last year we finally did. I love my live here but every now and then it also comes along with struggles. Nevertheless I keep telling myself "Better living with mistakes than with regrets". Just remember that bad days and lonely moments WILL pass.
Daniel, you are so great! I so honor your decision to go up to the North of Sweden! Love your honest Revealing- Nature- personal Videos!!! I am also moving now from Munich to another small town, leaving my Relationsship behind, starting a new Job. In my New, very quit new home, I have a nice way along a creek and fields to my working place, and I’m driving with my Bicycle. When I drive through nature, a remember Your And Jona’ s wonderful videos and enjoy the fresh smell of the trees, the Sunrise, the ducks… Where I Lived before ( Munich) I always had to go by Train or car, like you in Stockholm! ( I have been Living in Stockholm for a Year, taking the Trains From Nacka to Huddinge each morning.. so this is a big step for me, and watching how you manage everything…. Gives me a lot(!) of motivation, even though it’s kind of sad too. Thanks Daniel for your videos and lots of good vibes to you up North of Sweden! I send you my blessings! 😇 Haleh
Oh, what a lovely comment! Thank you for this! I'm sorry to hear about your relationship, but I hope you'll love your new home and your new job! Good luck with everything!! ❤️
Hey Daniel, thanks for your answer! I just moved with a lot of stuff and was very busy and a little bit exhausted. But the energy feels goodher in my new home with a fire place 🙂. Thanks for your videos Daniel:-) , yust go on! It’s gonna be big!! 🫶👍
Hi, Daniel! Glad to see you)) Wish you can repaire your car. Daniel, you are not alone, we love you and watch your video with pleasure. Many people love you and worry about you. Take care, wish you the best! From Russia .
Nordic winters can be so hard, they're so long and exhausting. But every time the spring comes again, I'm reminded why I love living in the Finnish Lapland (of course winter has its good parts too). 💕 PS. I loved the part in the car where your dad taught about how thermos worked, and said "but you ARE stupid" 🤣 Such a dad thing hahah
It’s from the inside we create and whatever feeling are coming up, we are ready to heal ❤️🩹 them. By feeling them fully without adding emotions they will heal. Such good opportunities ❤🙏🏻. Expect miracles ❤.
You live in such a beautiful place! I know you are lonely at times, and that must be hard. I lived like that in a rural area, and I miss it. My best friends were the trees and the foxes and crows. At times I would wish I had more people around, though, so hopefully you will have more local friends near you at some point. I heard of you from Jonna's video, and am so glad she told us about you, because it's lovely to have another sweet person to watch in the north of Sweden!
Hi Daniel ❤ you know what, I found a lost friend, it’s you ❤ whenever I watch your video either I sleep in between or feel light hearted. You’re so pure man. God bless you with good health and peace. I love you a lot, you’re my little bro. ❤❤❤
I am very introverted and I need to spend a lot of time on my own. I feel so out of balance and drained when constantly interacting with people but when I have no interaction with the people I love, I feel very disconnected and lonely. It is very hard to find the right balance. I could really relate to you in this video. You live in a stunning place, so close to nature. I hope this winter is kind to you and that you will rest and then bloom in spring!
That's exactly how I feel! I feel drained constantly when I'm around a lot of people! But at the same time, if I'm not around the people I care about, I start feeling disconnected as well. It's a very tough balance! Thank you! And yes, spring up here will certainly be something special, I'm sure! 😍
So true what you share. After craving solitude I too knew I also needed others. Dreams require letting go of something else that is wonderful. Thank you for your honesty. I really enjoy your videos. Very beautiful. Also came to know about you thru Jonna.
I feel the need to say this to you, Daniel: In those days where the forest feels a little empty and the stars look a bit dimmer, try to remember that we are a part of something greater than any of us. We are all connected in one way or another in this beautiful planet we call home. We are never alone. 💜Beautiful video!
I'm a loner, also. I too, spend days on end, not seeing or hearing anyone. And I live in a town of 4000! Many books, many videos, and RUclips. I am quite content. But I am also many years older than you.
Dear Daniel, I'm also a human "ensamvarg" and I know the emotions that you try to explain for us. It's absolutely natural that you at the beginning of your "new" life struggle a little bit with this. It needs time and patience of yourself on this way. Even I discovered you through Jonna's vlog and wish you success on your way of life because you are a very precious soul. Hjärtlig hälsning & kram från Värmland
Yay for me, I just finished binge watching all your videos from the very beginning. Thank you so much for the beautiful scenery and words of wisdom I have absolutely enjoyed them so much. I live in Perth Western Australia and the weather is so different of course, I love seeing all the snow it’s magical covering everything in white, next week we’re having high temperatures of 35 and 38 degrees Celsius the opposite of your weather at the moment. I would love to come to Sweden one day and see this incredible beauty for myself. I also watch Jonna’s channel and get a real sense of peace and appreciation for nature watching both your videos so thank you very much for sharing your life and journey with everyone ❤
How strong and full of energy you are! I could not have done what you're doing. I live in south of Europe and many times nobody says hello, when I greet them. So I feel alone between lots of people.
The snow is so beautiful! And your time with your family was so sweet. I know how you feel, I think of myself as introverted but sometimes even in alone time, for too long, I feel lonely. I talk to my dog a lot then lol
@@DanielErik I would love to experience snow one day, but again I'm not sure if I will survive the cold weather. I have a difficult time already adjusting the winter in Saudi Arabia.. I dream to retire in a countryside where there is less people. I love nature. You live where it is very beautiful.
Found you from Jonna! I see what she meant by how similar your way of speaking and being feels to her. I am going to be watching all of your videos now too! I live in Minnesota, am a singer songwriter, artist, and writer. It am close to the country but not so out there as you! Love seeing your part of the world. ✨
Hi and welcome to my channel! 🥰 I've never been to Minnesota, but it seems like a beautiful state! Isn't there a lot of Swedish inheritance there, as well? If I remember correctly, that's one of the states a lot of Swedes migrated to once upon a time! Sounds like you're a very creative soul! What kind of music to you do? 💕
@@DanielErik that is very true! I have Swedish in my blood on my dads side. Scandinavian at heart. On the way home from my cabin there is a sister town to one in Sweden, which is pretty cool. My RUclips channel here shows some of my music. If ever you want custom music I would love to produce for a channel like yours. I am working on building my sound kind of like Jonna’s music. However I am also like an indie singer songwriter and write about my own life, and my connection to nature mostly. I like the energy of nature infused into every one of my songs. I would love to grow my video production too, but one thing at a time. I don’t have as much space as you do in your area, but I do have lots of nature. I understand loneliness very deeply and commend you for sharing that very human experience. Thank you for connecting here with me, I’m so excited to see your channel grow.
Happy to see that your family was able to come for a visit with you. Oh my, the skating looked & sounded terrifying though - I certainly can understand why you seemed concerned….PLEASE be careful and definitely don’t skate on such thin ice without someone else being there with you! I can’t believe how quickly winter has set in for your area - the lake already icing over & so much snow. Your video made it all look so beautiful! Stay warm my friend ❤
Hi Kevin! I promise you, I will never be on such thin ice myself! It was like I barely dared togo out now, with my dad there! Haha! But he really know what he's talking about when it comes to ice, fortunately! Have a great new week, Kevin! ❤️
Hi Daniel, I also discovered your videos through Jonna - and I love your content! You are a wonderful person! I feel you when you talk about feeling lonely. Especially that time of the year. Great to hear that your car is fixed - hopefully, that will help you feel less isolated from the world. I think a dog would be a great companion for you in your life in nature. Best wishes and a big hug from Germany! 🥰
Those feelings are normal. You are alone but so lucky to be so. Do you journal or read, maybe some artwork. Walks are probably different every day where you live. The bird sounds, the noise of the forest, the changes in the river. Winter can be long and also brings some moments of feeling blue, and that's OK, as long as you get past them soon and keep your spirits up. ❤
your eyes give me this feeling of less resistance towards humans. I’ve been hurt so bad by them that I pulled in and decided to hide from them all, truly hating them for what they are (making sure the only humans I witness are Jonna and a few more here on RUclips) and then I found you. your eyes make me hate humans less and focus on the love I have for everyone. stay who and what you are. thank you♥️
Oh wow. You’re making me tear up! What a beautiful compliment! I’m so happy I’m able to make you feel that way!! Thank you so much for letting me know that, it truly means a lot! ❤️🙏🏻 Comments like yours is why I want to keep doing this!
I can’t believe the change where you are! I barely see snow in winter, and you are enjoying it in autumn! There is good and bad in having all that snow so soon, but I guess you are use to it. Beautiful photography as always! We can feel lonely in the most crowded places. I know I did, and now that I live in a more remote area, I seem to have more contact with people than ever before, and I love it! But when I do feel that hurt of loneliness, I try to dig myself into my art, creating things that keep my mind feeling better. As you know I recently acquired a building for my art studio, so this winter I will be working in there a lot, preparing to hit the art shows next year. So during those times when nature and friends aren’t fulfilling enough, find a hobby, and immerse yourself into it. Oh, and boyfriend over a dog. So much better all the way around. 😏❤❤
To be honest, I'm not used to all this snow at all! 😅 In Stockholm we need get this much snow! So this is all new for me! I'm glad to hear you feel less lonely where you are now! I hope that can be the case for me too! Reality is that I barely saw the people I care about in Stockholm either, because I was always working. But it's easy to just focus on what was good, when looking back at things, haha! I believe that I, in the long run, will build stronger connections with people I care about here. And again, so glad you have that artstudio now! 😍
@@DanielErik I forgot to tell you as I was making my comment, that I was home alone on my birthday (the 11th) watching this recent video of yours, and it was comforting to watch. I find all of your videos relaxing and comforting. Yes, eventually you will find the right connections with people, whether right where you live, or even across the globe. It just takes time. And the connections will be strong too. There are times when I feel like I could be in an area that has snowy winters like that, where I can just stay indoors and paint, but then go outside and enjoy the beauty of the snow covered landscape. Mind you, breaking ice and jumping in the water, well, you may have to coax me a bit before I try. 😝 Try not to feel too lonely. You have friends on here as well. ❤️❤️
Dear Daniel! I'm also a new follower and this video really touches my heart. You are such a sweet person, that I'm sure there will be company for you sooner or later. But if I may say this - it's the best supposition for good relationship to learn to be happy in the deep connection with yourself. Otherwise you seek for company out of a hurting need and this can leed to bad decisions. But of course you chose a hard school being in winter up there alone in this far - away place out in the nowhere.... Maybe the online company can help you through this a little bit, although of course this is no real substitute for close contact to a friend. Best wishes to you 😊❤
My new dear friend, Daniel… Thank you for your sweet and lovely, gentle spirit and for being on this planet. ❤️✨ I am so much like both you and Jonna in most every way (including being vegan, having lived in a van and being at home in nature 🕊️), and am so happy that I get to experience your lives through you and with you. Thank you for sharing and for allowing us along. 🙏 Yes, even in the US we use the term “lone wolf” and I am one as well. I can relate to so much of what you’re going through, not only the adjustment to being completely alone, but also the drastic changes of lifestyle. I’ve had much trauma and misfortune in my life and there are too many details to go into, but my advice is to keep doing what you seem to be already doing, which is to stay in the moment and to be grateful for what you have. I have learned that rarely does everything align perfectly and that everything is a trade off, and with each new experience there is inevitably some grieving of the past - or parts of the past. I think there is no comparison to all the quiet and mystical beauty that you are now surrounded by - nor the sense of fulfillment and accomplishment. I feel as though once you get your car fixed - and perhaps rescue a furry companion, and even perhaps rig a way to take a hot shower, things will balance out a little bit better, and it will feel as though you have the best of both worlds. I’m rooting for you. ❤️✨❤️
So sorry to hear how you've gone through trauma. I really hope you feel better! ❤️ Just like you, I believe there's often grief of the past, when doing a huge change in ones life. But I also believe those moments, even though they're not pleasant to be in, help us grow. Thank you for rooting for me! And always nice to see another vegan in the comment section! 🥰
Someone once shared with me that we are really never alone. If we look around everything is alive, the trees, the animals, the air, the ground I think you have it in you to listen to what’s around you ….you seem like a very introspective person . Take care . I love the snow , lucky you !!
I love that! I will definitely think about that next time I feel very lonely! Luckily I have a better mental day today! 🥰
💖💖💖
LOVE to you all💖
This is a true statement. Because everything you see, will also exist again, just as we will. Nothing is created to die indefinitely. Trees, grass, birds, bugs, nothing just goes away, everything has a spirit to it, and will be brought back again in a better place. I'm glad you brought this up.
Love This!
@@DanielErik maybe think about getting a companion, like a dog or so. it helps a lot during these lonely and dark months out there.
👍
I moved from Chicago to rural West Clare ireland and it took some adjustment. I'm an introvert too, but even introverts need interaction with others to some extent. One thing that helped me with loneliness was to join a book club. I know that may sound simple but sometimes doing one simple thing is like a reset button. For now though, I'm so happy that your parents and cousin are visiting with you! (Get a dog!)
As far as a hot bath goes, maybe you should think about getting a giant tub for water that you can put in your kitchen and fill with hot water for an occasional bath, like they did in pioneer days!
I really love that recommendation! I actually signed up my name on a list for a potential knitting club! I think that's something I'd love to do! We would meet once a month and knit together! ☺️
Thank you for such a nice comment!
@@bergannon6585 I'm sitting in front of a roaring fire right now! Enjoy your book club, it really is a great way to get through the winter!
It also doesn't help that it's winter - but I think you're doing marvellously.
You're learning what you like and what you struggle with. It's all great experience that will lead you to the right place for you in the end. It may be that you prefer being out in nature but a short drive from a city so you can see friends and be closer to amenities. You're trying out different ways of living and it's all valuable.
Having a dog will provide company, a routine and a bit of warmth on the sofa though! x
Don’t thank us to be here. We thank you to be such an example
Thanks!
Wow, I don't know what to say! You have no idea how much this is helping me out! You just opened up the possibility for me to visit my grandma on her birthday! Thank you so, so much!! 🙏🏻❤️
You're not alone. We're all there with you!! The snow is spectacular.
Thank you, I really do feel the warmth from all of you here! 🙏🏻💕
So beautiful of you to get a rescue! That's what I also want to do! That way, we can help each other, the dog and I! ❤️
And last but definitely not least, I want to give you a huge, enormous thanks!!
That's a very good way to think when feeling lonely! Thank you for that suggestion! And also for such a kind comment in general! Sending you love! 🥰
That sounds nice ....
i hope You channel grow up very quick ... i work in Sweden 15 years ago and i want comeback ........
Thank you! I do feel better today! And it also helps to read all the beautiful comments here! ❤️
Varm kram 🇸🇪
Marrit
Lots of hugs to you, Marrit! ❤️
Thank you so much! ❤️
Looking forward to see your future content 🙏
You got a new subscriber - Best regards from Denmark ❤
@@DanielErik
I am here for you 24/7 sweet man. Kisses.
So good that you are in company of your parents and cousin. ❤
Oh my god i love your dad. He's so funny and your cousin too. Seems like great fun ❤ thank you for such an incredible video. ❤️
They're both the best! Love my entire family! ❤️ Thank you for watching, Alison! 🙏🏻
You're not alone, my dear 💚 We are here, with you 💛 Big hug for u
You are having so much fun dan.the ice bath.looked like fun an super cold.l.o.l. I'm glad you you had a nice visit.
Daniel, thank you for sharing with us. Car problems. The man upstairs must not want you to drive anywhere. You must of needed to be there. Hot bath on your own? You don't need to see a real live person because the people who love you are never far away.
You make me smile. You make me believe that dreams do come true. Thanks
You are a beautiful soul and i love you living your truth. !!!!! Sending lots of love to warm you up!!!❤❤❤

You are really LIVING
Blessed be, Daniel!
I too came over from Jonnas Channel and I am glad I did.
Watching your videos is a bliss 😊❤
Nice video Daniel. The snow up there is no joke. It is so pretty though! Being alone can be tough but when you get to see people again it is that much more special. I'm glad you got to spend some time with your family. Looks like you all had fun. Stay warm my friend.
Loneliness is a strange thing you can be in a city of a million people and feel totally alone. Dog or bf is a tough choice! So happy how your channel is growing so quickly in the last few weeks 🎉
Thank you, Scott! 🥰🙏🏻
Wonderful. The scenery is breathtaking
Hello Daniel, one last comment. Just wondering if you ever read Walden by Henry David Thoreau. I grew up in that area and I remember walking with my father around Walden Pond. It’s a special place you might enjoy the book.
Omg‼️I just watched 40sec of your video and - yes! You are exactly like Johna! Like man version of her OMG😮
Dear Daniel I too am from Jonna’s channel, keep being your authentic self and you will instinctively find your way. I loved your content..
Thank you, and welcome! 🥰
Lieber Daniel, ich bin auch von Jonna's Channel und freue mich über dein Video. Es ist eine Herausforderung, alleine zu leben, vor allem wenn man seine Lieben nicht in der Nähe hat.

I’d be just as scared skating on that thin ice!
We just love your videos and videography. You are so adorable with your calming voice
Aww, thank you so much! ❤️ And yes, the thin ice was so scary!! 😅
I've found your channel because of Jonna, but I've stayed because of you! You are such a beautiful, very brave soul. I wish you could embrace your loneliness and stay in peace with it. Give it space and see what happens next. And get yourself a dog, yes! It's a really good idea

It thanks to Jonna that I found you. And now it's you, because you makes also beautiful video's. And yes you miss the shower and warm bath. (I know because we miss that to (a little bit))

wow, you get in the ice plunge, wow respect.

Such a lovely channel, I'm very happy that you chose to share your life with the internet and give a possibility for others to find you! The cinematography is amazing, really, I don't have any experience with filmaking, but it's soo nice to watch and it inspires me to also continue to persue my dream to find my own home and my place in nature in my country ^^
All the love from Lithuania, I hope you days are bright and you home warm

Lolol, the part with your dad in the car..... teachers will always be teachers 😅
I really enjoy both your photography and cinematography skills, but also your raw-ness.... like you're sharing with us the highs and the lows, helping us to relax and enjoy and see different things when we walk outside our own doors, and also face uncomfortable emotional things like feeling lonely, or wanting more interaction. Yet in that, you're helping all of us to realize that we're not alone, and many have been where we are right now and can send words of encouragement.
I also love that many of us are moved to write way more than just a sentence or two as comments ❤ Daniel, you're getting us all to think and connect 🥰

Seeing you all connect and become a part of this means everything to me! I'm so grateful I get to have such amazing viewers, and that we can all inspire each other! ❤️
Such a beautiful video! Skating and all that snow looks amazing...i miss the snow😢
You have to visit Sweden one day, then! 😄
@@DanielErik i really want to after seeing all of your videos!

I am planning a visit down to Stockholm kinda soon! My grandmas birthday is coming up, and I want to be there for that! ❤️
Yes, I do have water in the main house! But not in the barn, where the shower is. That's why I can only shower during summer. During winter the water would freeze, so I've shut it off down there, unfortunately!
Sending you a big hug! 🥰
@@DanielErik I’m sending you, an even bigger hug 🥰 🤗 back.
When I drive through nature, a remember Your And Jona’ s wonderful videos and enjoy the fresh smell of the trees, the Sunrise, the ducks…
Where I Lived before ( Munich) I always had to go by Train or car, like you in Stockholm!
Relationship you have with your dad is great! 😂 Also, SNOW! Shoveling snow is like one of the biggest, underrated workouts ever, ha ha!
Thank you, I'm so glad to hear you enjoy what I do and share! ❤️
@@DanielErik you’re welcome ❤️🌺
Thank you, beautiful written! 💕
@@DanielErik 💜💜💜
I'm a loner, also. I too, spend days on end, not seeing or hearing anyone. And I live in a town of 4000! Many books, many videos, and RUclips. I am quite content.
But I am also many years older than you.
I see that you get your cuteness from your dad.
Olá vim através da Jonna, amo acompanhar esse tipo de conteúdo, gratidão.
Thank you for a nice comment and for your well-wishes! It warms me in this cold weather! ❤️
And thank you for being here! ❤️🙏🏻
I found you through Jona's video and immediately paused so I could follow you!
Aww, you're warmly welcome! I hope you'll like it here! ❤️
How strong and full of energy you are! I could not have done what you're doing. I live in south of Europe and many times nobody says hello, when I greet them. So I feel alone between lots of people.
I'm sorry to hear you feel alone! It's so weird, often we can feel most alone surrounded by people! Sending a big hug your way! 🥰
The snow is so beautiful! And your time with your family was so sweet. I know how you feel, I think of myself as introverted but sometimes even in alone time, for too long, I feel lonely. I talk to my dog a lot then lol
What a beautiful place you live, but I am not sure if I can survive the cold weather. Beautiful! Enjoy.
Oh, it's so beautiful, yes! But just like you're saying, it's very, very cold! 😅 Have a nice Sunday! 💕
Sending you a big hug back!! 🥰
Yikes, even I am terrified just watching that ice crack move! 😱😱😱 You're very brave!
@@DanielErik and please do. always remember WHY you’re doing it♥️
I can’t believe the change where you are!
Try not to feel too lonely. You have friends on here as well. ❤️❤️
Så fint berättande om konstnärskap och ensamheten som kommer med den, även om man har ett rikt inre och aldrig är riktigt ensam
Tack så mycket! 🙏🏻
Best wishes to you 😊❤
We are never alone God is with us always. His creation is beyond words beautiful!!
Dear Daniel , see how many people love you , O M Gosh !! ❤ i love your family and love you , Happy Winter , Skyval ❤
Yes, I feel so loved here! Wow! I'm speechless! ❤️
Thank you for your honesty!
Yes, even in the US we use the term “lone wolf” and I am one as well.
