RACEBOX MINI TEST ON MOTORCYCLE | VLOG | REVIEW

I run RaceChrono with Racebox Mini, tap the record button and I can shut the phone screen and put it in my one piece track suit. The mini will record data and sync to the app no problem. No need to tie the phone onto the bike.

Hey what’s the benefit of racechrono over the racebox app? I think I’m going to get the mini and just learned it works with other programs but I don’t know what you do with the data.

Was wondering for ages and couldn't find any answers if you needed a sim card to use the RB Mini and thankfully you said you don't need it and can just get a burner phone so this makes me very happy to purchase this :D

yup! i first tested it with my main phone and made sure it worked, and then I purchased a dummy phone for display purpose!

Could have got a mini S unit, which doesn’t need a phone and stores data on the unit itself

I'm waiting for my mini to show up. I plan on using for dirtbike singletrack and trackdays at my local track NJMP. Any issues with Bluetooth connection? Can you use the rb for a session then connect to your phone?

The RB needs constant and consistent connection with a phone for it to track your data. It’s not a simple slap and run laptimer/data retriever where you get data in retrospect, unfortunately…
