Sir has said that machine has more skin effect because it uses copper which is more conducive while transmission line has less skin depth. And then sir said that on increasing frequency skin effect increases. This contradicts the formula because according to formula conductivity has same effect as frequency on skin effect.
steel is just to reinforced the conductor otherwise sag will be more and conductor will exhibit poor strength. by the way steel is not stranded but the aluminum conductor is.

sir, rectangular strips ke edges main charge density max hota hain, to LT panels ke busbar par rectangular strips kyun use karte hain, agar uske edges main Efield badd jate hain to???? also like you said an electric field will develop around those strip which causes corona, but they are placed close to each other in RYB sequence inside the panel. does it have any effect?????
