As another commenter said, whenever I see one of our Indian players get matched with Duda in a tournament, I already start feeling nervous and lose any hope because time and again, he somehow knows how to win against us! He is the Indian slayer. But it is great to see that he played a role in Gukesh's improvement in rapid & blitz, looking forward to see it reflect in this year's tournaments.
Thats so wonderful of him to be a second to Gukesh despite him being a player himself. This just shows how amazing friendship Gukesh (and Indians in general) have developed in the chess community
@@rggrrggr290 duda was chosen for his rapid skills . In case of tie breaks gukesh team was well and truly prepared. I would have given 50 50 chance to gukesh which many players did not give him in case of tie breaks 😄
