I tried this equipment in fc's with several types of armies (even with clone spells) and it seems a little underwhelming. Hopefully we can find a creative way to use it!
imo it sucks One thing to remember is that any new Warden equipment should be able to compete with the Eternal Tome, while the Lava Puppet seems to be more in line with other Puppet equipments as it has the same supply of units as the other Puppet equipments. They could make up for that with good extra Warden stats but they're trash.

Use a slammer and keep one AD up on the backside. Don't use your warden ability, until they are in the core, then zap the back AD and rage, base gets deleted.
Did you try sui/zap lalo with lavaloon puppet? You would need less clean up minions since the lavaloons add to clean up leaving more space for loons and lava hounds, just a thought
@@ShocKClashofClans thanks :) I was trying to use regular armies with 2 lavaloons and suboptimal warden equipment to make it feel like I was using lavaloon puppet. I tried cloning the lavaloons as well like you said and that didn’t work great in any scenario I tried including getting them to fly across the base and take down defenses, it was just too much investment. That being said I surprisingly had some success with 5 lava hounds, 2 lavaloons, and 6 bat spells with the priority being taking down the air defenses, wizard towers, scattershots, and town hall prior to sending in the lava hounds with the bats. That definitely won’t work in Legends though with poison tower bases being common. Overall, seems underwhelming like you said but I don’t think supercell would release this knowing that it was that bad, they had to play test it and it must have had potential somehow
Yeah it seems kinda goofy but it looks fun, maybe you could try and do the exact same attack in friendly challenges twice, one with the lavaloon and one without to try and better gauge its effectiveness
Honestly the lavahounds doing exactly what they supposed to be doing. Pulling traps and distracting defenses as they go across the base. Only regular usage is for air attacks don’t see much if u ground and pound. We shall find out when the pros figure this out lol
Hmm.. I'm still looking to see how good this is with other air armies especially lalo. I'll probably take the ores if by the end there's nothing that convinces me with this.. 😅
Yes exactly. It'll need to receive a buff before it's competitive. Almost every time I've tripled with it I watch the replay and think I'd have done better with another equipment.
Coc players duality: "Omg the equipment is too strong if we upgrade it they will nerf it month later" "Omg buffed made the equipment from weak so we have to use ores" You can never satisfy coc players 😂
The thing is, it needs the extra juice if anyone is gonna want to use it. Any ability the Warden has needs to be somewhat comparable to the already existing abilities, and so far I think it's even worse than the Life Gem.

It maybe used to clear some extra buildings when sacrificing the warden for super archer blimps. Else the equipment seems mid to me.
