We are "old pros" here in Florida at doing this "shut down" thing.... We do this every single year (sometimes *several times* a year!) Preparedness..... shut down.... stay home..... ~~BUT~~ thank goodness the *POWER* is still *ON* !!! :-)

I'm a hospital physician in Florida. Part of my 20+ years in the US Army included management of nuclear, biological, and chemical warfare casualties including for Gulf Wars I and II. For the first time in my career I am actually afraid to go to work because I've seen what the virus can do. My son and I saw your show twice in mid-January 2020 and laughed ourselves silly. As we were going through airport security I saw the signs asking if anyone had been to Wuhan China which proved to be the beginning of the storm. I am stunned to see the strip barren. But when I think of the last time I remember relaxing, having fun, and America being normal I think of your shows we saw in January. Thanks Marc.

That's where the hotel's magic comes alive. Whenever I brought a new person to Vegas young or old we had to drive down the strip in the evening. That is a glorious sight to seen!

Wow been to Las Vegas many times many seasons but never have I seen anything like it. Scary times. Theres something about being in the sheepherd in Vegas during the summer that I luv. I'm feeling the shutdown in San Francisco where I live (Governor Newsom called a shelter in place Thursday night). I was in Vegas days ago and last Saturday looked like Vegas was about to shutdown. When Governor Sisolak made the announcement he's shutting down all casinos and most non essential businesses, my vacation in Vegas was over. Aria kicked me out my suite I paid $34/night and McCarran Airport was packed people flying out of Las Vegas. Shows, conventions, concerts, nightclubs, pubs were closed. The only thing that was packed were the strip clubs and that's a bunch of nothing to begin with. When I got back home to the Bay Area, strip club called Little Darlings is still open during the Coronavirus scare and offering drive thru strip shows. You got to have a graveyard mindset going to a strip club in the middle of a Coronavirus lockdown. Vegas is in a serious crisis and people need to take note that your health should be number 1 priority.
Can't help but wonder why the city never thought to sychronize the traffic lights on Las Vegas Blvd...? Even if it required a 25mph limit to to make the timing work, it would still be better than this slog.
It's crazy not seeing people. Been to Vegas once and only drove down the strip once cause it was crazy. We figured it's easier to go around like u said..
Could you go for a drive at night on the Strip so we can see what the Strip looks like with no people and lights off (assuming businesses are saving energy since they are required to be closed)?

Yes. Most local restaurants are available for take out. But any restaurants inside casinos are closed completely.

I'm feeling the shutdown in San Francisco where I live (Governor Newsom called a shelter in place Thursday night). I was in Vegas days ago and last Saturday looked like Vegas was about to shutdown. When Governor Sisolak made the announcement he's shutting down all casinos and most non essential businesses, my vacation in Vegas was over. Aria kicked me out my suite I paid $34/night and McCarran Airport was packed people flying out of Las Vegas. Shows, conventions, concerts, nightclubs, pubs were closed. The only thing that was packed were the strip clubs and that's a bunch of nothing to begin with. When I got back home to the Bay Area, strip club called Little Darlings is still open during the Coronavirus scare and offering drive thru strip shows. You got to have a graveyard mindset going to a strip club in the middle of a Coronavirus lockdown. Vegas is in a serious crisis and people need to take note that your health should be number 1 priority.

They shut off all neon nope why because planes still coming in at airport would crash Vegas is in middle of desert be like looking out over the middle of the ocean at night with no lights on
