    Beautiful. Why do so few practice these applications? It seems to be that all anyone likes is point fighting which seems to have no relationship to karate at all.

    i need to see more of these videos of bunkai for my students, undfortunately we didnt learn that much bunkai when i was learning.

    But why does kata start from hitting with the elbow and not from checking the punch or grab technique ?

      This wonderful old gezzer fought in mma. Shoot fighting in the 80s and 90s. did full contact kickboxing too.
