I have learned so many things from watching him, as well as the historical values.I have the utmost respect and admiration

Beautiful. Why do so few practice these applications? It seems to be that all anyone likes is point fighting which seems to have no relationship to karate at all.

i need to see more of these videos of bunkai for my students, undfortunately we didnt learn that much bunkai when i was learning.

But why does kata start from hitting with the elbow and not from checking the punch or grab technique ?
It doesn't
applied bunkai
all in one, one in all.

And people still believe that traditional martial arts won't work in mma lol!!!
This wonderful old gezzer fought in mma. Shoot fighting in the 80s and 90s. did full contact kickboxing too.
